This place has been "chopped" from my list. I've seen this chain around Dublin so thought I'd give it a try for breakfast.
When you first walk in, it has a nice open, clean feeling. Tables, couches and bean bag seats give it a casual feel.
I ordered the breakfast wrap with ham and a bacon cabbage soup. Well, they were out of the soup I wanted so I went with the falafel.
The soup came out quickly, but was super salty. I brought to the attention of the person I thought was the manager on duty. He promptly went back and remade the order, which was a little better.
After 30 minutes, I approach the manager again because the place is slow and cooking some eggs doesn't take that long. He informs me that they had run out of eggs in the back kitchen. Annoyed, I'm wondering if he would have ever told me if I hadn't have approached him? And, how is it that a couple, who ordered after me, has an egg plate but I don't?
He offers to make me a wrap instead. I try to go with something similar to my craving: ham, cheese and a boiled egg. The wrap was tough to eat as it stated falling apart after a few bites.
All in all, a long wait for fast food that wasn't impressive in the simplest way. I won't be coming back here again anytime soon. read more
