Lovely little sandwich spot in South Edmonton Common. This place is bright and looks very clean…read more Decent amount of tables for two and the larger one closest to the doors. I had ordered a wrap instead of a sandwich and thoroughly enjoyed it. Staff was lovely to accommodate me by removing some items off the predesigned list for the wrap due to diet restrictions. The wrap itself was burrito sized, so be prepared for leftovers if you're only slightly hungry. The cookie I had was massive and soft! Honestly with the bubbly, cookie and wrap it was a full sized meal for supper (for me). The extra Yelp bag of goodies was definitely an added YES surprise! Thank you to Vilma & Earl of Sandwich for such a lovely summer treat.

There was lots of hype surrounding this place when it first opened. I was a bit skeptical about how…read moregood these hot sandwiches actually were. Surprisingly they were quite delightful and aren't too expensive. I went around 12:30pm on a Wednesday and it was quite busy. The line went by quick. I tried the Holiday Turkey and my partner tried their Original 1762. The Holiday Turkey literally tasted like a holiday turkey in stuffing within cranberry sauce. I was pretty satisfied with how spot on the taste was and it made me feel like I was eating a Christmas meal. My partner enjoyed his Original 1762 roast beef sandwich. Both sandwiches were flavourful and warm. They give you an option to choose between whole wheat and white bread. We got the combo so it came with soup and a soft drink as well. They gave us an empty cup for the soft drinks and it was self serve at the counter. The chicken noodle soup was well made also. Overall I definitely recommend checking this place out if you haven't. The sandwiches were filling and worth the value.

Ok I've come for take out before & was lured back in for Tuesday all you can eat. For starters,…read moreparking is great, there's lots of it. Wait time upon entry is also great- no wait at 6pm. Vaccine passport is also checked prior to seating. I like the ambience here... it's calm & reminds me of eating at a hole in the wall restaurant at a wharf in one of the coastal Eastern provinces I've been to... simple but feels like there was effort in decor. The booths are also divided with a heightened plexiglass barrier. High chairs are also available. There was a plug in at our booth which also has USB port (in case you need to charge up your device- my husband was a big fan of that). Service was lovely... very attentive and I believe it was the manager who had joked around with my kids. As for the food: kids menu has a decent selection (the fruit cup is literally the kind that you can buy at the grocery store), I found my older child was a bit more hungry than her portion as she snuck quite a few fries from others at the table after eating, but my 5 year old couldn't finish her fries serving. I do like that the kids drinks came in disposable cups with lid & straw. Definitely worth the $7 kids menu. As for the AYCE, I think it would be a better deal for those who can handle eating at least 4 fish pieces (they only served the pollock for AYCE which goes for $15 for 3pc with fries regular price & AYCE starts at $16.50), they do start off with 2, then will periodically check if you'd like more, then serve up 1 additional piece at a time. I think it's nice that way so that your fish always comes out fresh from the fryer. Don't be fooled- the pieces are a lot more filling than I expected- I could only eat 2.5 pieces. Salt, pepper, white/malt vinegar are available in packet form upon request. I'd definitely like to dine here again, the food featured on the display screen at the entrance actually looks quite delicious and different from fried food too.

Nice small family friendly restaurant. Food was good. Friendly service. We will definitely go back…read more Support your neighborhood restaurants.

The parking here can get busy but there is usually a spot. This is definitely more of a take home and enjoy kind of place and style anyways. The chicken is so juicy and tender, the flavours rock your socks and thOur last visit we ordered several chicken boxes so we could try most of their flavors: 4 types of cuts of chicken. Drumstick, Wing, Tender Piece, and Bone-in Thigh. OR All Tender offerings are also available. Tossed with any flavour of your choice or Sauce on the Side. Sauce wise we highly recommend the Garlic Soy, Golden Kari, Gochujang Caramel,Gochujang Garlic Soy, and the Sweet BBQ. Most of these are heat tossed and something about how the sauce sticks to that buttermilk flour egg battered and fried golden crispy coating makes them divine. Sides wise we enjoyed the salads- both the Kale Caesar Salad ($8) and the Black Sesame Slaw ($7) were delightful. We also quite liked the Sweet Butter Cukes ($4/$6).
