Order experience was good. Delivery was fabulous! But why is everything so heavily battered and deep fried?

This place is a rip off. On a $8 I gave her $20 she only wanted to give me back $10 and the food was gross

As a guest at a family celebration, I didn't catch the exact price of our menu, but judging from similar ones online, I'd estimate it around $798. Before committing to a $1,000+ spread, it's worth visiting to explore the more accessible offerings. The roasted suckling pig with jellyfish is a dish of contrasts: warm, rich pork paired with cool, crunchy jellyfish. It may have been my portion, but the pork leaned slightly fatty. Still, it was moist with a delicate, crispy skin. Instead of the usual deep-fried crab claw, Queen's serves a scallop with shrimp paste. It's easier to eat with a knife and fork, and while the sauce softens the crisp exterior, it adds a savoury depth without overwhelming the seafood. The crispy salted egg yolk prawns were impressively large and well cooked. I don't usually gravitate towards salted egg yolk, finding it heavy, but here it added a pleasant richness. Since the coating sits on the shell, it's easy to control how much you get. I also appreciated the inclusion of vegetables throughout the meal. The scallops came with gai lan, while the prawns were paired with broccoli, helping balance out the richness. Swapping out the usual shark fin soup, the bird's nest soup with minced chicken and egg white was a welcomed change. The broth was thick and silky, but the minced chicken added some much-needed texture. This is a long review for the rest go to Gastro World.

We were all starving and I wanted Chinese for my birthday dinner…read more This was the closest place so I decided on this. I just wanted to take takeout. I didn't feel like sitting in a restaurant and eating. I was too tired and achy from walking so much.. My dinner was very good , perfect spiciness but the lo mein , it was good, but it was super super thin noodles instead of the nice fat noodles that I'm sure we're all used to. The egg roll was simply disgusting. I had wanted a pork eggroll, but they didn't have any so they gave me a vegetable egg roll. I don't know what the hell was in it, but it was nasty. I think my son said it best, when he took a bite and said "it tastes like somebody threw up in it." It was just weird But everybody else enjoyed their dinners. Everything looked good smelled good and the prices were really not too bad. The employees were nice inside the restaurant also. They had no air-conditioning though it was hot in there. I personally would not probably go there again because when I want lo mein or an eggroll, I want what I'm used to and I'm not used to what I got from there.

I would coming back to try other dishes.

The staff was friendly and helped explain how the lunch deal works. I ended up ordering the: Wonton soup, incl mini mushrooms - the broth was flavourful, served piping hot, wontons have some veggies in them. General tao - rice slightly seasoned but in the drier side which is fine with the main dish. The chicken was perfectly cooked, the sauce the sweet and savory. I enjoyed this quite a bit Cold roll - mango, lettuce, carrot, radish and peanut sauce. Tasty! Lots of sauce to roll ratio Beef ho fun - big noodles, soft not overcooked. Seasoning was pleasant, healthy beef serving Ha gow +$2.5 - tasty but overall pretty standard, wrap to filling ratio a bit off, not worth paying extra in lunch combo They did also have an incredible Peking duck lunch special but it does require a minimum spend which we were not able to hit with just the two of us. I suggest bringing a group of 4 if you wish to take advantage of the Peking Duck Special!

So I went there with friends and had a chance to try several dishes too. It was a bit quiet when I visited (it was the day with stormy heavy rain), and fortunately we've got full attention from the staff. We were pleasantly surprised by how all dishes taste so good, not to mention the pecking duck. My favourite of the day was steamed black cod, and Super chicken lettuce wrap appetizer is must-order :) Portion was pretty generous too, especially considering the price range (in this economy!) Inside of restaurant was clean and well decorated. Overall, very satisfying dining experience and willing to come back and try other menu items.

The chili chicken was good but I've had better. The chicken hakka noodles was the star of the show, not too oily, full of flavour and a good meat to veggie to noodle ratio. Atmosphere -5/5 Very spacious restaurant, though it looks small on the outside. Has the classic hakka/asian restaurant look. Tables are spaced out well and a great spot for smaller or larger groups. Service - 5/5 The staff was so nice! It wasn't crowded so not sure if that helped, but we got checked in constantly and the waiter would come by and chat and try to connect with us. Will I go again?
