Lin Chopstick House is a quiet little place but the quality is decent. They make everything fresh so it does take a bit longer than your room if the milk Chinese take out joint. They were doing a brisk business as I waited 30-45 minutes for my order as I never got takeout from Lin before. If I had known it would be 30 minutes I definitely would have called in an order but I was in the neighborhood so I just stopped in. We used to love ordering from here but they have gone downhill fast, today one of the meals was wrong, the sweet and sour chicken was probably heated up from yesterday and rock hard and even my white rice was really dry. Called to let them know and he just kept yelling it was because I ordered online, well, you still made the food wrong!!! First time buying food from a Chinese restaurant since moving upstate from NYC. This is the most atrocious food experiences I've ever had. Placed my order at 5:15 and was told 25 minutes of course I gave more time then allot and when I get there 35-40 after they come out and ask what type of rice I wanted with my order and they still found a way to mess up my plain fried rice and chicken wings they were under cooked and there was not drop of seasoning on them read more

As far as Chinese take-out goes, this is my favorite in the southtowns. My family has been ordering from here for years. My husband always gets the General Tso's chicken and it's a large combo meal with fried rice and an egg roll, my favorite meal is the Shrimp with Rice Noodles. There used to be two different sizes for it and I always got the larger one in the white quart container. Now they only offer it in the standard combo-meal container. You definitely get less food. But it just tastes so much fresher and better than other places I've gone for Chinese so I will keep going here, even travelling all the way from Hamburg. I like that they offer Shrimp egg rolls instead of the standard pork as I love my seafood! Also, the crab ragoon is folded differently here than other places and I love it. We ordered combination meals for take-out and I'll give you the bad and the good of both dishes. I had the roast pork lo mein which comes with pork fried rice and egg roll. The egg roll stayed in the fryer way too long and was close to ruined. The pork fried rice was loaded with peas (gag) and I question if it was actually fried. It appeared to be just plain yellow rice. Not much pork in the rice. The lo mein was very good but eventually the peas from the rice started invading it and that was the end for me. Husband had shrimp and broccoli and was pleasantly surprised to find 6 very large beautiful shrimp, deveined and very good. Broccoli was plentiful but just about raw which was a turn off. The online menu intrigued me... it wasnt the standard same old template found on most Chinese menus- Alas, The menu was replaced as soon as I moved into the area...and as they were the closest to my place, we have ordered several times. The food has arrived prompltly and almost too hot to eat! We would have ordered far more often ,had we had the original , menu to choose from...as it is , there are a lots of interesting Asain take out options in the area- It would have been great to see Chopstick House remain unique, and resist the standardization , Americanization of their menu..... Buffalo and surronding area have been the recipients of a wonderful array of regional delicious new places.... But chopstick House has been prompt and tasty.. so for what it is ,and delivered hot on cold winter nights we are grateful :) read more

They have the best crab rangoons in Buffalo!! Unlike any other Chinese Restaurant their rangoons taste sweet! General Tso chicken with Vegetable fried rice is always fresh and delicious! Chicken wings are moist, crispy and seasoned to perfection! We just moved to the area and will only eat from here when we want Chinese food!! read more

Had $30 worth of food delivered. Fried wontons were so rotten you could smell the mold/mildew in them. Rice must have been from the previous day because my white rice wasn't white. It was yellow and mushy from sitting in a rice cooker all night. I drove there to get a refund and they treated me like I was trying to scam them and they only offered half my money back. Dirty, kitchen is disgusting, waiting / dining area dingy & unclean. Order was wrong. Over priced food. We even asked girl about the order as we picked it up, she assured me it was all set. Got it home, it was wrong, when I called back she made excuses that she doesn't make up the bags, yet she assured us it was all set? Yeah, makes sense.
