So my suggestion is if you want to do takeout: call and order ahead instead of walking in and waiting. What we had: Vegetable fried rice, Chinese vegetarian delight, Spicy squid and Singapore fried noodles (without pork). We hadn't tried the spicy squid or Singapore noodles here before and they were both really good! I don't really eat seafood anymore but I tried a bite of the spicy squid and it was yummy - lightly battered and fried tossed in a savoury seasoning and some chilli flakes. The Singapore noodles were yummy and flavourful. I forgot to ask for no egg since I don't eat it but i ate around it and was yummy and I would order it again. We ordered: veggie fried rice, Chinese vegetarian delight without tofu, and ma Po tofu without meat. Was also really surprised by the food. The fried rice could have used more veggies but the seasoning and flavour was good - it had that smokey wok fried flavour and I enjoyed it. I really liked the Chinese vegetarian delight, it had glass noodles, mixed veg and was in yummy sauce. The ma Po tofu was good, too spicy for me but it'smy fiancées favourite dish and he lovessss spicy and he enjoyed this dish a lot. Service was good, the girl was friendly and nice. Will be back! My suggestions would be: get rid of the purple chairs, maybe add some tall plants or something in the corners, get new signage made to attract new customers, ask the landlord to repaint the green exterior a different colour to make the strip look nicer and less dated, play some light music.

I'm used to a drier , thinner noodle that has some crunchy bits to it. I guess when compared to Vancouver's chinese food, it's not quite on par! Took 40 mins for pickup, not too bad especially since it's a Saturday. The lady who took our order on the phone was very nice. We ordered: vegetable fried rice without egg, Singapore fried noodle, ma Po tofu without meat, veggies in black bean sauce and corn soup without chicken. Portion sizes were pretty good. Our faves were the stir fried veggies in black bean sauce and ma po tofu. What I liked about the fried rice was that it had that smokey fried in a hot wok taste but not oily.
