In 1940 he purchased the present facility, the former home of Harry L. Johnson, of the Endicott-Johnson Corporation from his widow. In 1953 a partnership was formed with his son Robert W. Barber and in 1976 Robert's son Kenneth W. Barber purchased the business giving the community a third generation dedicated to serving families in their time of need. Ken's daughter Kyla D.
