When I spoke with him about his charging my student $6.40 to launder a dress shirt, $14.25 to dry clean pants, $19.20 for dry cleaning a sports coat, he felt justified in charges outrageous prices. His logic is that the clothes come out clean and not destroyed. That is the goal of all dry cleaners, right? He is taking advantage of students. Item for alteration: off the rack cotton trousers needed waist to be taken in. Draw string. I presented item to staff and told them what I needed. Response: "What do you want us to do?" ? First let me say that the groom and his party were all outfitted here, and everyone was very pleased. Myself, I bought the entire outfit at Men's Wearhouse. Suit, shoes, belt, shirt and tie. (A nice Kenneth Cole outfit, and yeah- I look good in it!) I was all set. Until I got it in my head that the shirt was too big. So, in typical MAN's fashion- I waited until last week and KELLY happily and smoothy exchanged it for me. And also in typical man's fashion, I didn't try it on. Well, the wedding is tonight. Yesterday I tried on the shirt- and it's TOO SMALL, just too tight around the neck. So sheepishly I returned this morning to Men's Wearhouse and explained to TIOGA my scatter-brained problem. Much to my relief, without hesitation, she swapped out my shirt for me- AGAIN- and somehow, because of rewards points, etc.- I got a 77 cent REFUND!!! Any firm can sell you a suit. It's what they do when something goes wrong that really means everything. I was SOOO anxious about this shirt and KELLY and TIOGA were really so nice and helpful.
