I was pleasantly surprised to discover that they had a separate family room for kids and parents, where they can have a quiet place to go during services. Equipped with toys, games and a TV, I wish all funeral homes had this. Ron and his staff have always been friendly and helpful. They do a wonderful job making everyone feel welcomed and comforted during, what is usually, a difficult time in people's lives. Fast forward 12 years later, my mother passed this Feb and Steve the new funeral director helped us this time around. Steve was also very kind and helpful. Communications were rapid and right to the point, and amazingly understanding. It is so important at the time of grieve to have this type of communication.

Typically funeral homes are not something you shop around or compare to much, but we found ourselves facing a terminal diagnosis with a few months to prepare. Knowing nothing about funeral home I just kinda stopped in on one. After 3 trips and lots of bad information, bad care, and not returned calls I said this is not how it is supposed to be. I sought out recommendations from others (which I should have done first with this type of service) and Zirbel came highly recommended. I talked to them and instantly knew this is how it is supposed to be. Caring, receptive, quick to answer questions. We were able to plan just want we wanted and they did an incredible job. Karen was extreamly wonderful and we could not have asked for better service. So on the off chance you don't have someone you can call and get the recommendation we got, I wanted to share our good experience in a sad situation.

This use to be a respectable place for 30+ years. It has recently been bought out by younger…read morepeople. I would not recommend this place at all now. They handled by dads stone. It took them 4 1/2 months to put the stone up....2 months past the time they said they would have it up. They put a friend of mine, stone up as well. It was incorrectly engraved. They would not fix it due to having already been paid in full. The only contact there is a girl that is not old enough to drink, and she gives us attitude. This place is a joke now unfortunately. Take your service elsewhere and save yourself the hassle that our family had to deal with in these hard times.
