Love this place. The instructors are so incredible. I'm that crazy picky mom who doesn't trust my…read morekids with anyone, but after taking the kiddo I nanny there for a few months, I loved what I saw & wanted my son to start classes. He's a great kid, smart, but like most boys, high energy & kind of wild. I wanted to channel that energy into something positive. The coaches really keep each child in line so gently and patiently. I've seen coaches carrying some of the new, younger kids on their hip while teaching the class. They really make sure that every kid gets the most out of each class. My kids all love going & I love seeing them grow in strength, confidence, & attitude. I highly recommend this to any parents looking for a great sport for their kids to get into.

Team Chip is a great place for kids and adults of all ages. They offer different programs like…read morejujitsu, taekwondo, and parkour. The culture is awesome! The instructors and leadership team work hard to ensure the students have a fun, motivating, and clean environment to learn. At Team Chip they teach more than how to defend yourself, they teach discipline, and excellence. They show they really care by pouring their hearts out and energy for their students and staff. The staff at Team Chip are always trying to improve and better themselves so they can better teach and serve the students. Team Chip also has cool events like tournaments, Women self-defense classes, Teen nights, parent's night out, and more!! I have been training at Team Chip for over a year now. I have gained confidents, a purpose, and people I consider family. Team Chip has changed my way of thinking and my attitude towards people. Before this place I was heading down a wrong path and they helped guide me in the right direction. They challenge and push me to do better every day. I truly believe Team Chip can change people's lives for the better and I think this place can be beneficial to all.

I'm the owner of this school, and couldn't even figure out how to reply to that post from 3 years…read moreago until now. I wasn't there that day, and the lady you speak of is also not there. We would love for anyone interested to come in and try a free class. We do bow as a sign of respect to our school, the flag, each other, and to the parents everyday though. We're now located at 306 Cove Terrace

These people are reasonably nice but are seriously weird as hell. I took my child in for a free…read moretrial class, rather than putting her with her own age group, there were grown ass men and women stretching and exercising with these kids. Now why wouldn't any child feel self conscience when you put them with 30 year old black belts and try and teach them stuff? Anyway, we stuck it out for about a half hour, they wouldn't let my child come into formation until she "bowed" before coming onto the mat. Aside from that, the woman with the frizzy hair at the front desk takes this class very seriously and will hound your child if he/she is not moving at the exact same pace as the others. She made my child (let me reiterate that this was her very first class she had no idea what karate was before walking into this building) do ten push ups (which is fine with me for disciplinary reasons) but for not stretching properly? Come on now. At this point, I looked at my child and realized how miserable she looked, I picked her up and grabbed her shoes, we walked out and will never look back. It was a terrible experience, please don't take your children here.
