He text a few weeks later and said he would finally fix the Pergala but he needs $120 get get his truck repaired and out of the shop. He will say anything to get money. Then he has hundreds of excuses for not being able to complete the work. I finally paid $5,000 to another company to fix Mike Riley's mess. Any good reviews are years old. Terrible experience with Mike Riley.

After showing him what I needed removed, he told me he didn't have his small stump grinder with him. When I made the appointment with him by phone several weeks ago I told him that this job specifically required his small stump grinder and that was why I was contacting him. I reminded him of this conversation when he was at my house and he didn't even apologize! John also quoted me $650 for 15 stumps. He also told me he would charge extra taxes if I paid by check instead of cash. One of the stumps was in a flower bed. John said I would need to move the flowers out of there so he could get to it. I scheduled an appointment with him to come back in 2 weeks and started doing some more phone calling and am sooo glad I did! I found another service that ended up coming out today with their small grinder. They only charged me $375 and got it all taken care of same day. They removed all the flowers for me in my front flower bed and even re-potted the flowers for me. They also let me pay by check and did not charge extra for it. They did a superb job. I high recommend them for all your small pesky stump grinding needs and will happily pass along their information to anyone who asks me for it.
