One of our old fluorescent recessed lights stopped working and I tried to change it to a newer LED recessed light. I wasn't able to get it to work and I called Nitesh. He gave me some tips to bypass the transformer but I still wasn't able to get it to work. He offered to come check it out and gave me a date and time a few days later. He made the drive up to San Jose all the way from Monterey and came early too. While fixing it, he patiently walked me through his steps so I could do it myself next time incase another old one goes out (I still have a couple old lights left and they don't make them anymore). Full disclosure, I didn't end up hiring Russ Galloway Electric for the issue I was having. This…read morereview is for their responsiveness and integrity. I reached out to several electricians for an issue with my bathroom lighting. Only 1 of 4 electricians even bothered to respond - RGE. They discussed the issue I was having with me and suggested I take a few steps to see if I could fix the issue myself and if those steps didn't work, then they'd come out and work on. Their advice over the phone was really helpful and ultimately fixed the issue I was having. They even followed up with a phone call a week later to see how things went. This level of customer care is practically unheard of in the construction industry these days. Though I didn't use RGE this go around, they'll definitely be on my speed dial when we're ready to upgrade our service panel in the next year.

I appreciate all the staff I have spoken with, such as Michelle, Anna, and a tech who answered the phone after hours, always being available when I called, never going to voicemail. They were very kind, patient, and understanding. The plumbing technician John was very conscientious, skilled, and thorough. He informed us of the drain line leak after looking into the gas leak. And another plumber/supervisor, Ron, who assisted him, coming from Modesto, was great as well. He assured us our repairs would be covered by the warranty co. (I needed that assurance--according to my policy, I thought it should be covered. The warranty co. denied the drain repair at first, misunderstanding the diagnosis. I spoke with Michelle at Jet's and she corrected that right away and in minutes, we were being scheduled the next day!) They repaired our gas line leak as well as our drain line leak, in one day. Their repair was clever. John even went over and above, with extra touches, such as paint and reset of the water heater as needed. Evidently, all their techs are journeymen, experts. High praise! We had a water heater issue and were assigned this contractor through AHS insurance. The heater was…read moreleaking, so the hot water had to be shut off, leaving us without even cold showers or a working dishwasher. We were told they would send an estimate to the insurance company within 48 hours--unfortunately, that turned out to be completely false. For over a week, I was repeatedly told the estimate would be submitted "today". Then, to make matters worse, a week later they informed me they wouldn't proceed with the job unless the car lift in our garage was removed. This lift has a narrow metal pillar two feet away from the heater and has never been an issue for any other service provider. We've had the heater repaired and replaced in the past without a single complaint about the lift. After reading other reviews, I noticed a consistent pattern: they show up for the initial inspection, delay submitting estimates to insurance, and eventually file reports that end up being rejected. It feels like they aren't truly interested in working with insurance companies--they just want to collect the initial visit fee and be done. Due to this frustrating experience, I've requested AHS to reassign my claim to a different service company.
