Too many missed questions that we had to bring up to her instead of her divulging the true details of the properties. Appeared more eager to "make the sell" instead of ensuring that we were taken care of properly. There are much better agents out there to assist in the purchase or sell of a home. When touring the models and a few of the move-in ready homes, I appreciated the quality, cleanliness, and variety of floor plans to choose from. They are also offering major deals on fixed interest rates for the end of the year (4.5% on select homes at Sutter) which I haven't seen for 30-year conventional loans with other builders. This review is for Turkey Creek Estates. The inside paint…read morejob is worst than horrible. Clear smudges and strokes (some 10" long), nail marks, dents. And worst of all - the Elliott personnel (Dewitt and Mannell) will try to convince you it is acceptable and that the paint is called 'imperfect smooth'. Wow-the contract doesn't say what degree can be imperfect smooth. So it is defined by Dewitt & Mannell. Dewitt looks at you with derogatory manner that indicates you are ?!^&*^. Mannell is better but still tries to convince you it is acceptable. She also tells me that other owner's opinion is not in the warranty. (other homeowners have shared the same opinion about the bad paint job). So they are the experts, once they have your $$$, they don't need to listen or care about the lack of quality. What I don't understand - they would rather pay the subcontractor full salary (don't critique their work and ask for improvements) but rather try to convince the homeowner it is acceptable? How about paying me good money to do a bad job with no accountability? Absolutely appalling.

Since I must obtain the documentation for my property's subdivision, I met Mr. Daniel Lupina, Escrow Officer who assisted me obtaining an E-mail copy of the CC& R'S and obtaining a hard-copy documentation as well. I waited a week, no hard-copy was sent as promised-I'm miffed. I immediately called regarding if, there were published any new 2017 amendments for the CC& R'S-NONE: The last amendment was revised in 2010 which was disappointing. While talking to Mr. Lupina, he sent via E-Mail the 2010 Revised CC& R'S; however, he bluntly stated his postal machine was broken so, he couldn't snail-mail the hard-copy . . . He informed me I must drive to El Dorado Hills Office picking up the hard-copies of all the CC& R'S for my subdivision. I felt inconvenienced; thus, three-stars review for having to retrieve the CC& R'S documentation when such a large title company can't repair their postal machine. Sad. He is one of…read morethe nicest agents I have ever met - he is a gentle giant (something like 6' 7" or so!) and is very well mannered and pleasant to be around. Not your typical self centered egotistical real estate person. My wife and I had been through the gamut with realtors in Davis and were very disappointed with the ones we had dealt with. Saying that they were greedy, disingenuous, sneaky and devious would be giving them a good review. John saw my listing come off the MLS when we had fired our Davis agent and contacted me. He was not like all the "sharks" that called and said they could sell my house for me and get "top dollar" in no time. John was polite and just asked if we needed any help. He even sent me a copy of a book he had written on real estate and how to sell your home. (It is a very informative and well written book) We invited him over and he showed up right on time (not an hour late like our Davis agents!) and was very concise and diplomatic in explaining how he would sell our house. He was kind of like a good next door neighbor and didn't talk down to us as if we were children like previous agents had. We were so impressed with this young man that we signed a contract with him. John always keeps his word and always shows up on time. Real estate is his life and we don't think he ever sleeps! We have other rental homes that we will sell in the near future.
