We had a special family party in the area, and we didn't feel that we could leave our elderly dog in a kennel, while we traveled to Delaware. I called and spoke with Paul beforehand, and he seemed to be a kind and accommodating person, with a true love of animals. When we arrived at the kennel, Paul and Kyle came out and welcomed us to their business, and more importantly, welcomed our dog. The business is in a quiet area, not far from the Delaware beaches. It was clean and the pets had different areas to be cared for, at different times of the day. We would feel very comfortable recommending Gravel Hill Pet Wagon to anyone looking for a safe place for their pets to stay. Thanks, guys, for taking such good care of our old girl. The staff is friendly, knowledgable, and the facility is CLEAN. Check a few kennels out like I did, and I'm sure you'll pick this one too. My dogs range from 13 pounds to 200 pounds.. They fit right in comfortably. My dogs walk right in with wagging tails. When I pick up my dogs and speak with the girls, they have picked up on each dogs' personality. I would never use another business for my dogs.

We took the puppy to the vet because she was peeing in her sleep. We were told by the vet it could be a bladder infection. So the vet tested and found it was a bladder infection but till they found an antibiotic it took a week or 2 and as she grew older they came back again and again. We contacted the breeder and she told us we could bring her back for another pup but by this point it seemed not an option for us. Another month or two went by and the vet said we should check her kidney levels and they were off slightly and now at almost 2 years she is in stage 2 kidney failure. Just a warning the Vet told us this is a bad line of bladder infections and the breeder has to know this so beware.

I initially decided to give them a try out of convenience but I can assure you I have rebooked Jessica for boarding over and over again with no hesitation. She provides excellent care for both of my dogs in the warmth and comfort of her own home and leaves me with no doubts whenever they are in her care. You can tell she genuinely has a heart for animals and is very approachable. She happily listens to any requests, quirks, or concerns and has always been more than flexible upon drop off and pick up. So I gave him some Benadryl and gave him a quick bath thinking that would help if he was allergic or she didn't get all the soap out . By Monday night I started to see red and clear stuff on my hands after petting him and on his blankets , Than I remembered her saying "oh that's hot " than she said he must have hit the handle on the water faucet and made it hot . His vet cut some of his hair to look at it and it was blistering. So he was burnt. . I know it was an accident but her response was that she didn't do it and got nasty with me . Oh, I was looking for was I'm sorry if I did that . She should have took responsibility for it. I'm sorry he goes a long way so that is the reason for her bad review.

When we arrived for the appointment we met with the groomer, Kelly, and spent a short time describing what we were looking for. She nailed it first time and we were impressed! When our pup goes back for her next visit we feel confident what's expected and sure they can deliver.
