I went here because my mom goes here and recommended It. First off I scheduled an appmt over the phone for 3pm on a Tuesday. I show up. They go oh you don't have an appointment. Ok. They didn't offer to make it better. They didn't discount me or work me in. They just said come back tomorrow. Ok. Came back for a SCHEDULED bleach and toner. I said I don't want gray or yellow/orange. I said I don't like silver or old lady white. I just want an ashy blonde that doesn't look yellow. Hannah bleached my hair. I told her it burned the entire time and she said that's normal. Ok. I had claustrophobia and she didn't care at all or offer to stop and rinse it out. I even asked can we skip my scalp and she just laughed. Ok Then came the toner. She put me off onto another person to do the toner because she'd double booked herself and that person was more important apparently. So she goes to cut and blow dry and shampoo other people while leaving me with an assistant. The toner came out yellow which is what I didn't want. So she tells her assistant to do it again. They do a different toner and it was burning so while she was washing someone else's hair I asked can someone come rinse this out? And she said ok. And she rinsed it out. Guess her assistant left. Then we go blow dry it. And I'm immediately shocked. To tears. It was OLD PEOPLE GRAY HAIR. Absolutely HATE IT. I look like I'm wearing a wig! Her solution - dawn dish soap. That's what she said to do. I don't even use dawn to wash dishes. I'm not putting it on my head to fix her mistake. I will NEVER step foot in a salon again. I don't care how many stars they have. They're pretentious and they charge you over $200 for something you hate. After THREE HOURS of an appointment I left crying in my car with a throbbing headache from the chemicals and my scalp feels burnt and my hair feels brittle as a crisp. The place reeks of formaldehyde and chemicals and there are no air purifiers or ventilation. I cannot believe I just did that. I will never waste money on a salon again. I am posting what I asked for. The cut and color. And I'm posting what she did. One review even says something to the effect of "I let my hairdresser do what they want and figure it grows back if I don't like it". Are you kidding me??? No one says that! These reviews are awful fishy to me. There is no way that they are real. I'm still disgusted every day by the horrible haircut I received. I am having to curl it daily to make it look decent at my executive level job. It's suffering from heat damage and used to be long and beautiful. I turned her into the better business bureau and she is so unprofessional she did not respond! STAY AWAY! 3/8/2014 Saw Elizabeth. Worst haircut I have ever had. Had hair almost to my waist...Asked for 4 inches off, got at least 6. Told her that I wanted long layers, got layers that were at least 4 inches from the bottom of my hair, very choppy and only on the right side of my head. Told her I was growing my bangs out which were almost even with the rest of my hair (took about 2 years to grow out), asked for a little blending so it wasn't so choppy. Got "face framing" layers that go as high as my chin and extend back at least to my ear. Then got to pay $50 for a "long" hair cut....wtf, my hair isn't even long anymore! Avoid! After washing and blow drying my hair and seeing the extent of the chunks all over the right side of my hair, I told her of my dissatisfaction. She offered to "fix" it. I declined as it is impossible to fix. She never once offered to refund my money. She responded to me with a very unprofessional text that stated she had nothing more to say to me, have a nice day, goodbye. She doesn't care. I was having trouble growing my fingernails and she showed me some tricks and now they're growing. I mostly use her special touch for my pedis because I'm elderly and can no longer handle this myself. I love the way she does the pedi and the way she takes care of my feet. Ladies, if you've never had a really great pedicure, give Breeze a call and ask for Amy. You might have to wait awhile to get it to her, but you won't regret it. She's the best I've ever been to.
