If you need your stuff moved, these guys are the ones to do it. We were in dire straits; we bought a home and were fortunate enough to get out of our lease early. This fact though presented a problem: getting movers on short notice. These guys (Daniel's crew) had a cancellation and were able to accommodate us. We had done our research and as it turns out CBMS rates well on the interwebs as well as being recommended by coworkers. Everything we heard was true OR EXCEEDED those expectations. From on time arrival, through walkthrough, tear down, wrapping, packing and loading to the delivery, placement and reassembly of our stuff. The guys were professional, funny and just as importantly put my wife at ease (she buys vintage hard-to-replace furniture) with their work ethic. Highly recommend. Christian Brothers is a top notch service. We moved in October 2022. We had a huge move that took all day and they stayed at it until the job was done. We appreciate that they wrapped all furniture with blankets and then Saran wrapped them up. We used Christian Brothers when moving from Waco to Riesel and they were excellent. They arrived exactly on time, wrapped and padded everything, and had it all moved out and into the new place much quicker than I expected. They were accommodating in doing a couple of things that they weren't obligated to do and even helped give advice on our furniture configuration! They delivered some furniture for a customer of ours and with a large concrete parking area to turn around in, they proceeded to pull up on the grass and caused several ruts. As it had rained 6 inches last week they tore up the grass area. They made no attempt to fill in the ruts or contact us to let us know what they did. They do not care for other people's property. Not allowed to deliver at our facility again. read more

I have never used a moving service before, my family and I are currently in the moving process right now. Because of work, and coaching sports, I could not finish our move. Christian Brothers did not deliver, they gave me a time and date, explained to me how to cancel if need be, I did give both addresses, and they are saying that I didn't. I VERY much do not recommend this moving service, they will cost you a vacation day, more money and they will blame the customer for everything. read more

The mover we planned to use didn't show up so we called Christian Brothers Moving. They were prompt in scheduling us and did a fantastic job for us. They were on time, very friendly, and took great care with my mom's stuff. They were knowledgeable with the care center my mom was staying. There were not many things to move, but they had no problem bringing part of the stuff to one location and the rest to the new care center where my mom is now living. Christian Brothers did an excellent job on my move from Waco to Robinson. I had flexible dates, so I called to see when they might be able to come do it. Turns out, they could come the very next morning. Granted, it was a weekday, but still. Much sooner than I expected. The guys arrived on time and ready to go. They were friendly and careful with my stuff. They wrapped up my sofa up nice and even pointed out some stuff like spider's eggs on the bottom so I could get rid of those before we moved it. They would not give an estimate prior to the move, no contract prior to the move, they did not provide a written tabulation of how many boxes or packing material was used, there was no inventory sheet of boxes and furniture moved. We were forced to decrease the move by one day late in the day (3 days to 1 day packing and 1 day move). We experienced over $2,000.00 in documented furniture damage (some permanent), only 4 pieces of furniture moved were without some damage. To my knowledge they used no pads on furniture only wrapped it in plastic, they broke stair banister moving furniture into new house, damaged walls and wood floor, did not pack or move all of the belongings at old house, broke glass table top, damaged upholstery on chairs and an antique sofa because of lack of padding to protection, plus numerous friction mars and chips from furniture due to poor protection and how it was packed in the trucks. They did not pay the damage claim in full, even when I hired a professional furniture repairperson who submitted an estimate and pictures of the damage. When I discussed this with her, she said the claim I originally filed was a lesser amount. I supplied email documents the second time. To no avail, she then deducted from the damage claim, after assuring me several times there would not be an issue "just submit your claim". She provided a written invoice and received payment in what I believed was the full amount due at the end of the move, which was 1 AM in the morning. She later deducted for "extra boxes" a total of almost $400.00 from the damage claim. I had no idea she thought there were "extra boxes" used. The first mention was at the time of trying to collect the damage claim. I will say I was not at the old house during the packing and move. After seeing how things came off the truck at the house I would have definitely stopped the moved. If I had been there to see how it went on the truck. Overall they are the worst moving company I have every used or heard of. Even though they appear to be nice people, they do not possess the ability to move any furniture or belongings of value. They definitely do not know the value of what they are moving based on how the boxes were packed and the furniture prepared. In some cases different items were just placed all together in an open boxes without any packing material at all. I have moved many times using national, local companies, and even moved myself. I have never experienced as much damage and lack of care or concern, as was demonstrated by this company in this move. Buyer beware. read more
