The move took two full days to complete, despite the reverse move previously being completed in about three hours by just one person and a crackhead. The timeline felt incredibly inefficient and resulted in significantly higher costs than expected. To make matters worse, several items were missing after the move. There was little accountability or urgency shown in resolving these issues, which only added to the frustration. One of the most concerning aspects of the experience was that movers were taking videos inside the home without permission. Even more troubling, the behavior came across as inappropriate and unsettling toward a 15-year-old family member. This created an uncomfortable environment during what should have been a professional service visit. The pricing was also inconsistent and seemed to fluctuate throughout the process. The final cost did not align with expectations set beforehand, making it difficult to trust the estimates that were provided. Moving is already stressful enough. Professionalism, transparency, and respect for customers' homes and families should be the minimum standard. Unfortunately, my experience with Chubby Fit Movers fell well short of that expectation.

I was a bit concerned if this was a legit company (fear of no labor showing up on load day!), but it all worked out. There is just not a lot of personal contact - most being done online. The workers came with all the equipment a professional should have. My only concern was the main guy did not know how to tie knots in rope - he could only use ratchet straps to secure loads in the truck. Not a problem if you know how and are there to do it. At the other end of the move, we had only minimal damage to items - less than I would have expected from commercial moving lines (Atlas, Mayflower, etc). Remember to tip the workers!
