Hire drivers that will do their job and not lie about coming by and unable to deliver packages. And ones that knows how to read addresses .

In Waco, TX. The driver literally laid my package on the ground on the street curb, but stated they placed it in "outdoor storage." There was no outdoor storage -- it was right on the street so that anyone driving by could have easily opened their car door and just picked it up without getting out of their vechicle. I don't have an exceptionally long driveway, so they could have easily walked it up to my front porch. Additionally, I live in a safe neighborhood, there are no dogs running around, the package could be easily carried with one hand, so this was just pure laziness. You would think that Fedex would expect their delivery people to make the effort to leave a package by the front door to avoid having to pay insurance for lost packages. Just absolutely pathetic. Notice that UPS left a package on my front porch within an hour of the delivery that was left on the side of the road by FedEx. FedEx is just the worst. I've had lost and damaged packages, delayed packages stating I wasn't home when I was. In 20-years, I have never had issues with UPS. Such a difference in quality and service. read more

The day before they said they were unable to deliver my items. I called and spoke to 2 people until I finally spoke to someone in the Hewitt office. I gave the actually Coordinates for our house. Explained what our home looked like because it's a new build and it wasn't on google maps from January. He put the map of the correct location on the packages. The driver picked a random house on a the wrong county road. I made sure that we had two large signs at the front of our gate with our number. Instead of following the map, he picked a random house on the wrong road. He left two packages totaling about $800 at a random home on the wrong road. With help of Facebook, I was able to locate the house and contact the person and they were an An honest person. And they deliver my package no thanks to FedEx. read more

Sender paid expedite service, next day before 12pm. Waiting by my door at 11:52 update came in saying: delivery attempt no one at home to receive package. I have a fron and back door camera. Called only number they offer...they will try to get him to "come back" he didn't even came in the first place!!! They have some how managed to find the garage door and put two stickers saying we were not here for a package that requires NO SIGNATURE. We have been at home the whole time. So yesterday my pregnant wife sat in her car all day to try and catch this asshat and we waited 12 hours for a temporary delay for a package that has physically been to our house 2 times now apparently. I'm fuming. I should not be this stressed to receive a damn delivery that until I get it my life is on hold. I could have driven to the shipping location of California twice by now. What a joke. No regard for special delivery instructions. Yes... I live in a gated community and you have the gate code. Stop making me wait for a package and then just saying I was unavailable. I wasted four days waiting at home to sign for a package. Super frustrating because I reached out multiple times to help them get it right. After three phone calls and four failed delivery attempts they were finally able to deliver my package to their store in town. Sad face... Six days later I drove 30 mins and got my package. I let it slide with driver not delivering to my porch because of covid, even though package could just be left on porch and no contact needed. Several times it has been multiple and heavy packages that I had to drive down to get at end of the driveway. Today, I had a package I was supposed to sign for since it was expensive. It was left on my trash bin at the end of our long driveway by the road. Tracking said I signed for it, which I did NOT sign for it! So not cool to forge a customers signature. I was expecting a package on a Saturday, The website said it was out for delivery and then later in the day it said undeliverable due to weather conditions. It was a nice sunny day. Apparently the driver wanted to get off early and enjoy it. If you don't think that you get paid enough to get people's packages to them when they're supposed to be then just quit and let someone who cares have your job. I was happy to install a video doorbell so I could instruct delivery people where to leave packages. These folks refuse to, saying it is "illegal to do so". This is such BS. When the company that I made my purchase through finally got hold of FedEx, they were told that due to security(?) reason FedEx could not explain why. WHAT? This location as well as the Hewitt location has a systemic problem with employee and management a responsibility, for customer service and incompetent business practices. The primary issue being that if need delivery drivers think that no one is home, they will not attempt delivery in their rule routes but instead we'll just leave a sorry we missed you sticker on the front door and leave to continue on with their route. I filed multiple complaints about the Hewitt throughout the years. I'm filing a complaint against the Waco location primarily because of I've just discovered that the unprofessionalism and a responsibility goes all the way up through management. A FedEx driver was supposed to be delivering my grandfather's controlled substance medication. Seeing that there was no pick up in the driveway, he assumed that no one was home. He slept a redelivery sticker on the front door and left without attempting delivery. There was a note on the front door with my telephone number on it and my wife still telephone number on it instructing any delivery service to ring the doorbell multiple times and wait a few moments before leaving. My grandfather was the only person that was home. He's not deaf, but he is a little slow at moving. He is also located 10 ft from the doorbell. Me, my wife and my grandmother were at the grocery store in my pickup truck. My pickup truck was missing from the driveway and my grandfather stated that no one knocked at the door and no one rang the doorbell not even once. I would like to think that my grandfather had a spontaneous and miraculous case of dementia at the time the delivery was being made, but these types of deliveries only seem to happen on Days in which my vehicle is missing from the driveway. It's even happened when I've been sitting in my living room when my vehicle was in the shop. In any case I called FedEx and filed a complaint. Two or three days later a manager at the FedEx location called me to follow up on the complaint. The whole time the manager was speaking to me he was playing defense attorney for the delivery driver rather than trying to actually placate the customer. He informed me that he believed that a delivery attempt was made. He informed me that the delivery driver informed him that he spoke to a female at the first delivery who intern told him that my grandfather was hard of hearing. I informed the manager that there were no females on the property at the time of first delivery and that my grandfather was not hard of hearing. I also pointed out the fact in case it wasn't obvious enough that his employee lied to him straight to his face. It was at this point that the manager told me that there are three things. My story, his employees story and the truth. Despite the fact that I pointed out that his employee lied to him about the circumstances of the first delivery, AKA talking to females who were not there, he stated that he believes his employee did attempt a delivery and it would make sure that his employee hangs around on the property for a little longer than he did. Description in two words, useless and worthless. I have a package that has been in the Waco area for ONE WEEK and can not get it delivered. I do not live on the Moon. I see FedEx trucks and vans going past my house so they are traveling but every day for the past 3 days now I see on the tracking site, unable to locate address, delivery exception. I rarely complain, however, this is the third time I have complained about the FedEx delivery person in my area (China Spring, Texas). I have called the main FedEx number regarding this delivery problem - to no avail. The delivery person is leaving large boxes at our mailbox that is located 450 feet from our house. Today's delivery was moved closer to our house... he left it approximately 20 feet from the street next to our driveway. We are in our 70's and it is difficult to load up the boxes into a pickup and drive the boxes back up our drive to the house, strictly because the delivery person is too lazy or inept to do his job efficiently and/or thoughtfully and courteously. My next efforts to get this corrected are to contact the companies in which I am ordering medicines and miscellaneous grocery items to notify them that I suspect that FedEx is not fulfilling their delivery contract to customer satisfaction. FedEx drivers are either lazy or incompetent or both. FedEx has all necessary information to be able to deliver to my home however I always get a text "no one was home" which is complete BS. I'm going to start asking companies who I buy from who they ship with and if they say FedEx then I'll find another company to buy from. If I could give zero stars, I would. They have "attempted delivery" to my house 3 days now and each day have reported that it was undeliverable because no one was home. All 3 days I've been at home and no one has come by. I have security cameras to prove that they never even drove by my front door! I've now talked to 2 different customer service agents with FedEx who seem to be equally as incompetent as their drivers. Yes, my address is correct and has been the entire time. I even gave step by step directions from the Hewitt delivery office to my house yesterday. And they STILL couldn't figure out how to deliver a package. This business is full of liars. read more

If I find out that a package that I have purchased is being delivered by FedEx I know for sure I will have nothing but problems. It will say delivered to door but not my door. And then when I have to go through all the bullshit of calling FedEx about it all they ever do is tell me I have to contact the shipper . And end up ordering again .
