Seemed to be family run and the prix fixe menu was composed of four delicious options for appetizers, four main course dishes and four desserts. Everything was delicious and freshly cooked to order. It was very fresh, locally caught & delicious! We also liked the sautéed shrimp with rice and the flank steak with pepper sauce. If you like your steak medium rare, tell them rare with pink. France only does rare, medium or well done. The salmon filet came with mashed potatoes, the fish was a little dry but had good flavor. Right inside the gates for la seigneurie, Hathaways is a cute cafe/restaurant that offers a large…read moreterrace and inside area to sit in.  It might be a good idea to make a reservation beforehand if you are going in a large group.  We were able to get a table without any problems. They have a number of British staples like fish and chips and pork pie.  I ordered a galette, which was more like a fried savory thick crepe topped with ham, cheese, and an egg.   The best thing about Hathaways is being surrounded by flowers and it's proximity to the walled garden and hedge maze.  Worth a visit just to see.
