It is quiet and very professional environment. So I got my naturally curly hair done by Kim. I could tell curly hair was a bit of an uncomfortable thing, but she was willingly to do her best. So I helped comb out my curls so she could do highlights. At first she didn't think any highlights would adhere but she said we can try. So after the comb out, she began the foiling technique. She mustered through and highlighted my entire head. After processing, she rinsed the color and then saw there was some brassiness and put a toner on it. Over all the color did adhere nicely. She then gave me a healthy trim and applied some product and diffused me. Now, she admitted not being the best with blow outs etc., so I just opted to have product, a light diffuser applied and be on my way. Unfortunately, I walked out looking like a poodle. But hey, she also admitted to having an affinity to touching curly hair which is-a no no! But overall, I would definitely go to her again, she did an awesome job with coloring, which is exactly why I went, not for styling! She was friendly and very accommodating. I was irritated for 4 days and couldn't even wear underwear it hurt so bad. The esthetician waxed the same area about 5 times, which I've never experienced. I had wax left all over the area and thankfully I had wax off to remove the excess (I've used this product many times and was not the cause of the irritation). The part that left me the most unsatisfied was the fact I had to get another wax once I came to the beach because there was so much hair left I was embarrassed to wear a bathing suit. DO NOT GET A WAX HERE.

I really would have liked to get a full set and for the price I can't believe that one fixed nail and a polish change cost so much. I also showed her a picture of what I wanted and during the manicure asked if I could have two colors in the background which I think made her confused because she didn't add any designs on top of those colors. She seemed rushed, annoyed and really acted like it was a nuisance to have a customer . I won't go back ever for my nails and I don't even want To go back for a facial . The whole point of this smaller place is personal attention and consideration, but I just felt very uncomfortable. I don't think it's worth it for nails because they are apparently way more expensive than other places I have been to, and I don't know if I can go back for a facial either . The massages were good too, I just wasn't ever able to get a time after work. I think if you're a busier professional and have changes to your schedule this place doesn't want to accommodate that .

The workers obviously did not arrive early to prep or clean the office for COVID 19. There was no sneeze shield at the reception area. No mask or gloves on any of the employees there. The line of people was instructed to sign in and leave their phone number then return to wait in their car. We were all told we would be phoned and told when to come in. After 2 hours literally TWO hours and no phone call, I walked back in to see people sitting in the waiting area. I asked how much longer and was told I was next. I sat to wait and a lady beside me said they are only seeing the people in the waiting room because they don't have working phones to call the folks waiting in their cars. . Another person heard the conversation and asked the receptionist if this was the case. She said this was true. She said she can allow no more than 10 people be in the waiting area because of COVID19. Two other people came in behind me and were told to go back to their car and they would be called. They left for their cars. This after the receptionist said there were no working phones. She straight up lied to the two people. The staff was horribly rude to the patients waiting. They made no effort to clean the waiting area or keep people six feet apart. The restroom was filthy and no toilet paper! I left without being seen when one of the staff told us no checks or credit cards would be accepted. Cash only, so go to an ATM, and you had to be back before 7 pm to be seen. They mentioned this at 6:30 pm. This place is the most unprofessional business I have been in, and I will NEVER be back. I would not encourage my worst enemy to go here. They obviously don't care for any patient there.

Basically, I waited last minute (we drove from Tampa) but Vanessa was able to get me in. Even given my long hair, Vanessa did an AMAZING and fast job putting together two Dutch braids. My hair is the longest it's ever been and she has been the fastest at braiding it by far. It held up through three nights of sleep and 22 miles of racing, including log and sandbag carries where the braids would get caught under them, two muddy dunk walls and a swim. Was going to take them out before heading back to work but they still look great so I'm leaving them in an extra day! I highly recommend Vanessa if you're looking to get your hair braided quickly in a way that will last!!

She then asked about my hair line what color i would like to show more....again charged additional. I asked for eye brow wax and tint which i knew would be extra of course. When I got the bill I was shocked at $342.00 I expected $200.00 but this is INSANE. When you go expecting one thing and being charged outrageously for a la carte I don't know how anyone can afford this place. I contacted Ulta and they assured me someone would contact me back and never heard anything. I will never be back.

They failed to ever tell me before doing my nails that it would be an extra $40 for gel (mani & pedi). 2. I asked for clear nails then color French tip. They used this ugly brown color instead of clear. 3. They gooped on the nail acrylic fill, then they put on 6 layers of polish; color & clear. I have never paid so much for my nails that look horrendous and the employees talk about me while I'm sitting right there.
