We met with Laurie and she explained how their program works and our daughter had an assessment done and she was able to review it with us and let us know what support our daughter needed. My husband and I were very happy with their method and the support they had to offer. Laurie reviewed how much the investment would be and the different options we had to pay. Which was very reasonable. Flexible schedule and accommodating. The best feeling I had was when my daughter came home after her first session and told me she felt good and safe their. After the distant learning and trying to get settled back in at school, my daughter was lost and felt all alone with her struggles. Mr. Kim with his love of teaching and his great method of making math easy to learn. Gave my oldest child the confidence and the right tools to be successful in her studies. My child that hated math found herself confident to the point where she helps her peers when they have difficulties in understanding math. She is now approaching graduation and looking forward to going to college to study Bio Chem. From hating math to looking forward to learning more about math and science. I didn't expect that change of heart. My youngest daughter had more time in the Kumon program. I didn't hesitate to put her in Mr. Kim's classes. She is entering high school confident that she can solve any math problem and if she is stuck, she has the tools to figure it out. If only Kumon was around when I was in elementary school. Between kindergarten and high school graduation I received no better instruction than the handful of one-on-one sessions I had here. Beyond the lessons, the teachers here gave me help developing the study skills that I never needed in high school and could not have survived without in college. I study education now at a university and cannot recommend Delta Learning Center highly enough. It almost seems criminal that kids can go all the way through high school without any one-on-one teaching. I wish I could rate it higher than 5 stars!

My daughter went to Tutoring for about 8 weeks 2-3 times a week at a cost of $25-$35 an hour. My daughter actually scored 30 pts below her last exam after David's Tutoring. My daughter said there was a lot of goofing off going on, some inappropriate comments said to her, and it just wasn't the most professional working environment on David's part. I later requested that I receive a partial refund because David didn't deliver on his promise, and I was not satisfied that my money was well spent. David agreed and agreed to a partial refund, but he never sent the refund.

He started at Kiddie Academy Brentwood when he turned four and attended for about five months. His teacher was Ms. Alaina. Pros * You need your own login to enter the school. * All food is provided (though it's not exactly "free," considering we were paying almost $100 a day). * At drop-off, all the teachers would always say good morning to my son. I honestly wished one of those teachers had been his teacher. * My son loved playing with his friends and formed very close bonds with a few of the kids. * He learned how to write most letters and started learning addition. Cons * My son often seemed sad in the mornings when I helped him put his shoes on. He asked for "only easy shoes" because during nap time, they take their shoes off, and Ms. Alaina would refuse to help him put them back on. My son words were "Ms. Alaina said to put them on myself and doesn't want to help me". What parent would have enjoyed listening to that? So then I asked him more questions about this and he said his friend would help him put his shoes on. This made me want to cry because how sweet of his friend to try to help. From there on out, my son only took "easy shoes" (shoes with no shoelaces). Another time, I picked him up and his shoelaces were completely untied. He was literally dragging his feet. I asked the teacher to help him next time, and she said she hadn't noticed. It's hard to believe a child dragging his feet could go unnoticed. * They have a parent app, but the teacher wouldn't update it until the end of the day, which defeated the purpose of wanting updates while I was away at work. * Ms. Alaina had Trump stickers all over her water bottle. (I guess this might be a pro for Trump supporters.) Regardless of political affiliation, a teacher should never display political messaging in the classroom. One time, my son saw a picture of Trump and said with excitement, "It's the guy from school." Why are they talking about Trump at school? * At pick-up, Ms. Alaina never gave me updates on how my son's day went. His previous school always did, so maybe it's just not standard practice here? * One time I picked him up and he had red all over his face. I panicked, thinking it was a nosebleed, but Ms. Alaina said it was frosting from cupcakes they had during snack time. Snack time is at 3pm and I picked him up at 5pm, you would've thought between those two hours she could've told him to go wipe his face. It's literally common sense to wipe a child's messy face. * The classroom had a 1:12 teacher-to-student ratio. For the amount of money parents are paying, I feel that the school could have added another teacher. I guess that helps explain why Ms. Alaina wasn't as attentive as I had hoped. * Again, Ms. Alaina being a Trump supporter. Imagine supporting a president who has openly discussed dismantling parts of the education system while working as a teacher? Make it make sense. Overall, these are the reasons why I feel this school deserves only two stars. Maybe it would have been more if my son's teacher had been kinder and more nurturing.

My son has been with Top Class for a little over 2 months now. Christina came highly recommended from several teachers at my son's school. When I spoke to her about my son's needs and our family schedules I was so pleased how flexible she was and how many options she had to accommodate us and give my son the best experience. What I was really impressed with was her ability to take the time, study my son and his needs and find the PERFECT match in a tutor from her group with Lucas. We LOVE Lucas!! He is very patient with my son and is able to show him different ways of learning key concepts he has been struggling with. They also have similar special interests so he can speak to him on another level that has also built a friendship and comfort level there. This is the best part because my son looks forward to seeing Lucas and working with him now! There are several subjects that I have already seen advances in my son. I pick him up and he tells me about a cool trick Lucas taught him for Math facts and so on. Christina really made a wonderful match and I really like that she is there as well and they really work as a team in an environment to help and watch over each other and our children. It takes some children longer than others to learn. Now throw ADHD on top of that. My daughter has always had a hard time in school. When she started second grade I realized how far behind she was. So I enrolled her in tutoring. I was hesitant at first, because I felt it was my responsibility to teach my child. But it didn't take long for me to accept the help. It was so hard for my daughter to concentrate at home what with her 2 little pesky twin siblings always tugging at her shirt. But soon after, meetings with her teacher and some doctors visits later, she was diagnosed with ADHD INATTENTIVE TYPE. Explained so much. And I realized that she does so much better with one on one help. Ms. Connie has been amazing with her through it all. And my daughter loves her. Her teacher says that she notices the progress being made and she truly feels the tutoring is helping a ton. Thank you Christina and Connie! You have truly made our lives less chaotic. My son Jr struggled all through 6th grade and the summer of 2017 I knew I had to get him help. I found Christina's Top Tutor online. Christina and I spoke and got to know a little about each other over the phone and my son. She was super understanding and helpful. She set up Junior with Liz for help with Math and Reading.The cost was very good for the time, attention and tutoring that my son received from Liz. Ms Liz, who happens to be the best tutor ever is funny, friendly, understanding, easy to talk to, easy to learn from and she's amazing with my son. My son goes once a week and his reading and math has greatly improved over the past 6 months as he instantly felt comfortable with Ms. Liz. My daughter has been working with Connie for a little over two months. She (and I) felt very comfortable right away. After struggling in school, first with reading comprehension, then in math, I started making calls to find the right tutor. After speaking with Christina, my daughter and I were excited for her first session with Connie. In such a short time I have noticed a new confidence in my daughter. I can't say enough great things about Christina! My daughter fought me so hard when it came to math. She was frustrated, wouldn't concentrate, and sometimes didn't even try. After the first tutoring session, my daughter was excited and even wanted to keep doing her homework when we got home. Christina has a way of making learning fun! My son started tutoring with Ayah mid semester, he was struggling with chemistry. Ayah is amazing she helped him to understand and enjoy the subject. We were hopeful he could bring his F up to a C with Ayah's help he brought his grade up to a B! I was searching for an language tutor for my son and a friend referred Christina. He has been working with her over the summer and is continuing through this new school year. He enjoys the style of teaching she implements and I have seen his frustration with regards to language homework reduced. I look forward to continuing our on going partnership with Christina and his classroom teacher. Christina is sincerely focused on the kids development. Christina has been an amazing tutor for my son. Not only did she help him with his math and reading, but she also helped him build up his confidence that he could do this work. My son has ADD. She was able to help him understand his work cause he thinks things differently than others and she was able to understand him and help him. She is an amazing person. read more

Ms. Ayesha is my daughter's tutor. My daughter is a 6th grader and needed a little extra help with math. Ms Ayesha is awsome with my daughter really helps her understand her math and helps with some of her other subjects when needed. My daughter asks to go to her tutoring now!! Christina is great! She really understands kids. She makes learning fun in a relaxing environment. She is patient and uses great tools for motivating the kids. We no longer need her services because my son is doing so well in school but we HIGHLY recommend her for tutoring services!! read more

I found Christina to help with my brother. Now that he's in first, it's nice to see that when he's done with homework, she also has his specific grade level material to practice with. She becomes so involved with the kids, and it's nice to see how much improvement my brother has made! read more

I have had my fair share of experiences with preschools with both of my daughters and we were so lucky to have found Ms. Nanette and Little Wonders Preschool. Nanette possess a true passion for children, making learning fun and positive social development. She brings out the best in children (and parents) taking the time to know each child's personality an style an really encouraging and supporting their individually, strengths and weakness and making Little Wonders a positive and safe place to grow, learn and be creative. What was even more impressive was when my daughter started Kindergarten and the fact that she was already ahead of the curriculum was amazing. It really showed how much she advanced due to being at Little Wonders....sight words, basic math, problem solving and science... I highly recommend Little Wonders Preschool!
