Very fast but very thorough. If you like waiting around to be seen and told what's wrong then go somewhere else. Here you will get seen exactly at the time of your appointment, usually in and out of his chair in less than 15 minutes for a normal appointment. I had a deviated septum and was seen and diagnosed very quickly. After reading reviews online and talking to others I was told that he is one of the best to go to for this procedure. I scheduled my surgery to take place at his office and was there for a little under 2 hours the day of surgery before I walked out with all the work completed. I've been seeing him ever since and won't go to another ENT if I can help it. The one flaw he has is that he's very abrupt and blunt about what's wrong with you and whatever misconceptions you have about what "you think" is wrong with you. So if you want someone that will tiptoe around your diagnosis and feelings then this won't be the right Doctor for you. I hope this review helps you. read more

How many of us really look at the benefits report we received from our insurance company? I actually did and he charged Medicare for so many items that he didn't even perform. This was by far the worst doctor I have ever seen. He was extremely rude, rushed through the entire appointment, and acted very unprofessional. He didn't listen to our questions, barely gave any answers, and was rough in the way he handled me - literally pushing and pulling my head around without care. If I could give zero stars, I would. This doctor's office is unethical. I was charged $300 out of pocket on top of my co-pay, then discovered they billed my insurance for procedures completely unrelated to my visit. I came in for an ear issue, but the submitted claims were for nasal treatments I never received or needed. These charges are now under investigation by my insurance provider. Only saw him because he was in-network and my previous ENT no longer is (thanks a lot, BlueCross). He didn't look at the chart, cut me off about 5 seconds into my effort to explain a 35 year history of sinus issues, and sent me on my way with an Rx that I have already used to zero effect. Wants a CT scan next, probably just to rake in some quick cash. No interest in understanding my case, AT ALL. I don't know what happened to him. He was okay doctor when I went to see him years ago. Now he does not act like a 'care giver' at all. I went to see him because I had blood coming out from my left year. As soon as I entered his office he shouted, "You touched it!" several times. This is even before he looked into my ear. First, either these 5 star reviews are being paid for or they're bots because most people on here agree that this ENT doesn't care for his patients. I expressed my concern over thrush and while it was mild prior to the appointment, he prescribed me a medication that can in fact cause thrush. So now my throat is burning, I have a severe headache, and yup my tongue is full of white gunky patches. It's male doctors like him, and no matter where they're from the misogyny is rampant, that make me consider dropping having health insurance all together so I can save up for a nice coffin. I spent literally my last few dollars, and some of my parent's money while trying to suppress my tears and ignoring my intuition that this appointment wouldn't go well. I'm used to being treated like crap from the medical community, but he cut me off mid sentence and gave me no time to ask all the questions I wanted to ask, and tried to convince me that I didn't have thrush and that I shouldn't be concerned about an over enlarged tonsil that does prevent me from swallowing well. Stay away from this doctor, I think he has something bad going on in his life, He gave me a ringing ear, tinnitus. he kept digging into my ear, I believe he did it on purpose. The appointment felt scammy from the start. Dr. Lee is covered by our insurance since he is in network, yet the staff insisted I pay first. This is WRONG with an in-network doctor! His office should run the bill through the insurance company first, THEN I am obligated to pay any difference not covered by insurance after it has cleared through the insurance process. But not at this office! Then after the payment issue, the appointment was the most rushed experience for me and my 20 year-old son and he was rude and a bit belittling, almost argumentative. Such a weird and stressful vibe in the whole doctor/patient back and forth conversation. He argued with my son about congestion, "You cannot breath and feel like you need to blow your nose all the time, right!?" - and my son said, NO that isn't his problem, that his nose feels obstructed and he cannot get enough air through the passageway. Yet the doctor kept referring to mucus. Ugh. It was just... a very odd discussion and very frustrating. He cleaned my son's ears, showed us a rushed scope of his nose. Told my son there wasn't much help for his structural nasal problems as the issue is "just how your nose is built" which has no real solution (???). Our recent visit to Dr. Christopher J. Lee as an Ear, Nose, and Throat specialist left us with an overwhelming sense of disappointment and frustration. Right from the start, Dr. Lee's lack of genuine care for our concerns was nonexistent. Instead of addressing my father's discomfort and frustration with empathy, he appeared disinterested and indifferent to the nuances of our case. Dr. Lee's approach was disappointingly cursory. It seemed as though he was more interested in rushing through the appointment than in identifying the underlying causes of our problems. Adding snarky comments that embarrassed my father and belittled him like a child. The lack of attention to detail and what felt like a complete disregard for our well-being left us not just disappointed but downright angry. Dr. Lee failed to provide a comprehensive explanation of our condition, leaving us in the dark about the issues affecting our ears, nose, and throat. Our questions were met with dismissiveness, adding an extra layer of frustration to the already disheartening experience. Despite the already negative reviews, we figured because he was recommended by our primary doctor, he must be good and there may just be some misunderstanding. However, regrettably, the overall experience is exactly as his negative reviewers warned us. My mother came to see this Specialist because she was hospitalized with vertigo and was told she could still have an ear infection because her symptoms did not improve after 3 weeks. Dr. Lee spent less than 5 minutes with my mother and had no interest in hearing any of her concerns. He basically shooed her away because he was finished with what he had to say. He said her ear was fine without even looking into it and charged $150 to do a basic ear wax removal. He said her eyes could tell him there was no infection. We were told by her primary physician that they hear these complaints from this ENT often and they would never recommend him. Also, her primary dr. Looked into her ear just hours after seeing dr. Lee and saw that she was still suffering from an infection. Another thing that was absurd was that he recommended my mother to eat high sodium foods because she has high blood pressure and that will make her body retain water. It was a waste of time visiting this Dr. And we would never recommend him to anyone. After leaving his office, my mother was more concerned than she was to begin with. I am not one to leave negative reviews. I left the office feeling as if I was had. After describing having strep, recurrent tonsillitis to the point of extremely swollen lymph nodes taking 6 days off work and not being even close to being able to swallow last month. And describing how it feels like this is coming on again. He very politely told me I have acid reflux. I question how this individual received a medical degree. Also as other reviewers have mentioned. Be prepared to have your posture and sitting position corrected, a 5 minute appointment and up selling after the first 30 seconds. As well as a prescription for Nasal spray. I left the office literally in a state of stupor, feeling scammed. I do not say this lightly. I have at no point in my life been to a specialist that I would recommend less than Dr. Lee. While I was there I was told my insurance would not cover the visit at all. I was told a Laryngoscopy would cost $100 out of pocket and that insurance wouldn't pay for any of it. 2 months later I get a bill that the procedure was actually $300 and the office visit is an extra $80. I wish every doctor appointment was like an appointment with Dr. Lee! Not only is he an extremely capable physician, he is prompt, quick and forthright. Dr. Lee's office hums with productivity, and the waiting room is never full for long, as patients zip in and out of the exam area. The extremely kind and friendly staff keep the schedule moving efficiently, and they are quick to respond to messages and requests. He is very busy but seems to always find time to fit in patients with last-minute issues. Dr. Lee is also a skilled and remarkable surgeon who corrected my long-standing breathing issues. He always explained my options and his recommendations. I never question his judgment or capability. Scheduling and executing the surgery were amazingly simple, and I had no issues whatsoever post-op. He works quickly and makes sure patients understand every component of their diagnoses and treatment. I am highly-skeptical of any negative reviews posted about Dr. Lee. I've never had a more pleasant experience scheduling or completing medical appointments, and I would love if every medical office operated as efficiently as his. Where other physicians leave patients waiting for hours, Dr. Lee is always on schedule and quick to diagnose issues previously-ignored by other physicians. I highly recommend Dr. Lee! read more

I was referred to Dr. Lee by my GP for a sleep study. After having the study done I was diagnosed with sever sleep apnea and scheduled for surgery at an Emory facility. We did 4 out of the potential 5 operations at one time and there were no complications from the surgery. I'm sleeping much better now and go back regularly for checkups. No complications with my insurance before or after the surgery. I would consider Dr. Lee very fast and efficient with good bedside manner. I have suggested several friends visit him for ENT services and have no problem recommending his office. read more

My PCP suggested I visit an ENT for earwax removal. I found Dr. Lee in the Humana directory. I called his office and they had several same day appointments available (Red Flag!). I arrived early and completed all the paperwork as required. I gave them my GA driver's license for picture ID and my insurance card. They also required I let them take a photo for their records. I ran into this one time before, but it was voluntary, not mandatory. Dr. Lee requires it as a condition of treatment. I really did not want to do this but gave in and let them take it. I should have left at this point. It's my mistake that I didn't. Dr. Lee was very curt with me. I don't know if it was because of the photo, the fact I'm not Asian or that I'm a woman, but he was just rude. He spent less than 10 minutes with me. If he hadn't rushed me out the door, I would have mentioned that I have tinnitus. He didn't ask any questions about my medical history and tinnitus was not on the forms. I admitted to him that I had recently used a Q Tip to clean my left ear. He used a metal instrument in my ears to remove the wax. When I flinched because it hurt, he said "Hold still! I didn't put that there, you did". I'm a Registered Nurse. My employer expects me to be courteous and professional no matter what my personal feelings are about the patient. Dr. Lee does not feel that same obligation. I will not return for the followup appointment. read more

Dr.Lee is quick and fast! I wasted my money and time dealing with family doctors and i am so glad i made a big switch to come to Doctor Lee. He was very informative, explained what he was doing while doing it. I had clogged ears for about a month and i was going to pay 85$ for a ear irrigation. Dr.Lee didn't even need to spray water to get the earwax out my ears, he literally just took all my earwax under 5 minutes! WOW! I recommend him to anyone dealing with the same problem as me.
