Worst experience ever!! Made an appointment with the doctor to see him. Arrived and waited +30 mins and skipped over by other patients. Made to pay for the office visit in advance(unheard of). I began to feel cheated and should have walked out the door at that moment. Finally, went back to see the doctor and he was curt, rude and extremely unhelpful. Demanded I situp while I was extremely dizzy and nauseous. Took a look in my nose, mouth, and ear for two seconds flat and said I had inflammation and needed some steroids. Told me to not drink water in his presence. Said I didn't know what I was talking about and repeated the same question over and over like I was stupid. Told me to be quiet and spoke down to me the entire time I was there. Questioned my career as if I was under his stature of equality. Finally, after being ridiculed for being sick he wrote a prescription and had me out the door with no reason, explanation or prevention. Come back in 4 weeks. I came to dr. Lee a couple of times to get my ears cleaned. The first 2 times he was a little rude, and rushed. But I just chalked it up to "doctor" behavior. But the 3rd time i went he was extremely rude to me. Dr. Lee made me feel so uncomfortable. I told him my diagnosis from my primary care doctor, and he abruptly stopped me and told me that my "self-diagnosis" was wrong and that my symptoms neither exist nor make any sense. He wouldn't even let me explain and was incredibly and uncomfortably rude. He also grabbed my hand and stuck my finger in my ear to explain a concept, but it was very forceful, inappropriate, and nonconsensual. He kept rushing me (entire consultation took less than 10 minutes), and I felt as if the doctor only cared about making a profit. He prescribed me the same medication that my primary care physician had prescribed. Useless and a waste of money!!!! Also!! If you can read Korean, look on various Korean forums; there are so many negative reviews, and it seems as if others had similar experiences. I do not recommend him to anyone, I took my mom to him for her complaints of excruciating ear pain, and he told her there is nothing wrong with her ear and to stop eating chewy foods because it was her joints that was the cause of pain. Really? No medication whatsoever was prescribed for her pain. Which has been going on for about a month.Our appointment was rushed and did not last longer than 5 minutes, while other patients were well tended to. My mother and I do indeed feel scammed. I've been having persistent ear issues for a while now. Dr. Lee was very helpful and I'll be following up for continued treatment. He is very quick and does have a firm (but still kind) bedside manner. If you're looking for someone to give you the warm and fuzzies and ask all about your life he's probably not the doc for you, but he was able to address the problem, establish a treatment plan, and send me on my way in a reasonable amount of time which is exactly what I wanted. I should have read the reviews before going. I think the man more or less knows what he's talking about. However, he's so condescending and abrupt it's hard to get past that. He doesn't listen and talks over you. I paid $125 to see him for like 15 minutes and then he charged me an extra $150 to stick a camera up my nose and in my ear, even after he's determined my ear pain was from grinding my teeth and not an infection. The surgery went very well and I was well prepared and informed which led to a nice recovery. Dr. Lee is very professional. I went to him bc I kept getting severe sinus infections. He recommended surgery to open up my sinuses. Dr. Lee is AMAZING! He is very efficient with his appointments also. I had a sinus issue that I thought was minor, he immediately know what to do (CAT Scan), evaluated me and directed to the right procedure same day. He is very intelligent, and doesn't have you waiting to meet with him. If your appointment is at 9:00 AM, he is ready. No waiting for an hour, being late.. His front desk team, and nurse team are all very sweet, and just as efficient. He openly admits he does not like to waste time, but cares about you and your experience. She said she preferred Korean speaking doctor because she doesn't speak English well enough to communicate. My biggest mistake ever making appointment with this doctor. She tried to let him know what her symptoms were and he kept cutting her off and concluded that she was chewing something too hard and that she needs to stay away from hard food. Do not come to this doctor! Very unprofessional, unethical, and disrespectful person I've ever met. He does not care about his patient's concerns and he will treat you like an ignorant child. She had her purse on her lap and the Dr. Lee abruptly grabbed her purse from her lap (without asking her of course) and threw it on the table. I want to begin my review by stating that I have no affiliation with Dr. Lee. I have experienced him on a professional basis only. And as I read the reviews. I looked hard for a common thread that I would experience too. Fortunately there was NONE. Made an appointment online and had one confirmed within 10 minutes. When I arrived at the clinic the wait time to see the doctor was minimal. And there was not as much administrative work as I had anticipated. Subsequently I have never waited more than 5 minutes to see Dr. Lee after arriving at his office. The office staff is effective and friendly albeit not overly so. Yes Dr. Lee has many Korean patients but I noticed many people of all backgrounds at his office. They accept my insurance with the co pay and I know what the fees will be every time. Dr. Lee is especially brilliant and appears to have a drive of efficiency, which I can see as putting people off.However he is from the northeast and as one would expect direct. However, every time I asked a question about my illness or a reasons for an application and a or drug; he answered every question. Never at any time did I sense he was put off or annoyed. He answered and explained in detail. And in a fashion I could both understand and appreciate. When he performed the surgery he called the next day to see how I was feeling. He wanted to give an update on how the operation went. My experience with him and his staff have been excellent. He is honest caring and forthright. This was hands down the worst experience I've had with a "medical professional" in my life. First off, he seemed to have overbooked himself, and the waiting room was completely packed. I later learned that his method for dealing with this is seeing each patient for 5 MINUTES, whipping around the room, aggressively handing the patient during his check up. No other doctor I've visited has caused me pain while inspecting my nose, but some how, while in his crazed, rushed frenzy, Dr. Christopher Lee so aggressively stretched my nostrils open that my eyes started watering. When he got to addressing the reason for my visit, he stuck a camera in my ear and said, "look at all this ear wax. Ear cleaning is $100. Want it? $100. Hurry up and decide whether you want it. Decide," and basically rushed my mother into just saying yes to get on with the horrible visit. Another $100 down the drain. So with the cost of the visit, our total was at $225. Then, he told my mother to come look at the screen and see what was going on in my ear. When she started asking questions, he literally started barking at her, saying "SIT. SIT DOWN. SIT DOWN. SIT DOWN. SIT DOWN," over and over again until she finally sat, even though he called her over in the first place. At that point I was so angry at this rude imbecile; I just wanted the visit to be over so I could write this review. When he told me what was wrong with my ear, I reminded him that I already went to a doctor before and got the same diagnosis. He cut me off and said, " forget about what they said. It doesn't matter. I'm telling you the only important thing." Then, he prescribed me the exact same thing my doctor in Athens prescribed me. However, he didn't even explain what medication I would be taking. I only knew it was the same medication I've been taking because he kept saying "nasal spray." I asked if it was Flonase, and he said yes, as if he were surprised I knew what he was talking about. He gave us no opportunities to ask questions or talk to him about why I even felt it necessary to come to him for my second visit. When he decided he was done, he didn't say any parting words, didn't say how long to take the medication; he just said, "come back in two weeks" and opened the door. AS IF. We will not be back. We were paying him to be in that office. We paid $225 to be disrespected, scammed, rushed and booted out of his office. DO NOT COME HERE. read more
