Overall very respectful staff, I do wish the environment was a little cleaner and maybe brighter? I know we're grieving but it felt dark and dingy and kind of dirty. They have a little soft bed area where you could lay your pet and say final goodbyes but there was fur on the blanket and just gave vibes that many animals had been laid there. I would have really appreciated it if it felt cleaner. Like can we change out the towel with each person? I can't imagine that's asking too much? They did have the best prices that I found when looking online if you want to receive the ashes back. Lollipop had the best price if you were leaning towards a group cremation and not receiving ashes back. Their price includes an ink paw print and they put the ashes in a little wooden box. I would definitely consider them again if I was in need of this service in the future.

It's been 10-20 years since we last visited and have been out of state only to find out that there is new management. I have some recommendations. Please clean up around the grave markers. Our Shana was completely buried in mud and grass. Repave the entrance and more directions are needed. I wish the new owners well. More and more people nowadays treat their fur babies as family. The staff is always super helpful and friendly to work with for admin purposes (scheduling, billing, etc.). If I ever have a question if I should bring my dogs in for something, the staff is very responsive to emails and phone calls. This came in handy the other day when my dog had a bump/bite on her belly. I emailed the office, unsure if it was something that needed immediate treatment, and got a quick response back letting us know it could be monitored from home. I appreciate that the standard response wasn't that we needed to come in. Some places make you come in no matter what, but it is helpful to have a vet that ease our concerns so we don't spend extra money for non-emergency appointments over small things. It really eases my anxiety as a dog mom knowing I have the Orchard Park Veterinary Medical Center nearby who will take care of my dogs in any situation.

Our dog died after taking her there for an emergency situation. They were unable to do the…read morenecessary test because the 2 people that did the tests that were needed to find out what issue was weren't there and there was no one else to perform the tests. If you go there I wish you and your pet luck that they will be able to help. How can you refer to your clinic as an emergency hospital when they my or may not have the necessary staff that your pet may need?? Then, when I asked to have an autopsy on our dog a few hours later after she had died, they said it wasn't possible because her body was already frozen. I found out from two other Vets that was ridiculous and you just let the body thaw. I believe they didn't want us to find out that they were responsible for our dogs death. That place is a joke by calling the place an emergency veterinary clinic. I wouldn't recommend that place to my worst enemy! DO NOT TAKE YOUR SICK OR INJURED PET THERE
