I don't typically leave poor reviews, but I'm shocked the way I was treated by Dr. Lee. I had an…read moreappointment with him and he tried to end session after 5 minutes. I asked him why he was trying to end our session early when this is something I am paying for. As I'd like to address some personal things and he said we can do it at our next session. I asked, If I'm already here and speaking with you then why would we wait. He got extremely mad at me and said we are talking right now aren't we. I brought up that he tried to end our session after 5 minutes again and blew up on me, gas lighting me for trying to speak with him when I'm paying for my own session. He's extremely rude and unprofessional and honestly comes off as just wanting your money instead of trying to help patients. The fact that he yelled at me for asking questions is no way to treat a patient. I've never met a doctor so rude and stubborn. I am finding a new psychiatrist and don't recommend Dr. Lee.

She treats every patient like a drug addict. even though she only prescribes me wellbutrin. My old anxiety started coming back after I got a handle on my crippling depression, but she refuses to treat me for it because she assumes every patient is an addict. I go here because of location but I'm beginning to reconsider that. Also the office is TINY so while waiting for the dr for 2hrs you have to literally be on top of everyone else. I started having panic attacts and anxiety attacks in 2021 as the body was constantly in flight or fight response since moving abroad. We had 3 sessions so far and I am learning how to trust life. Also, she has Epilepsy. My friend conveyed she did not feel well, but the "receptionist" didn't want to listen. All she cared about was trying to get insurance from my friend, and then when she did and saw she had Medicare, suddenly she changed her tune and said that there was no doctor available who could help her. The receptionist told her that it was not a walk-in clinic (excuse me)? Like, wth?? My friend almost fainted. She was denied care.

After waiting about five minutes, a girl came to the window. I did not get names, but I can give a general description - she is about 30, I told her I'd like to see a doctor regarding that issue and that I was not feeling well. She informed me there was no Dermatologist on site. I informed her this was not a dermatology-related issue, but apparently she didn't care. She didn't even look at my leg. I told her I was not feeling well, and that's probably from this infection I had on my leg that I wanted a doctor to look at. She just looked at me with the deer caught in the headlights. Please keep in mind I did not feel well, It hurt to stand, and she's just staring at me. I said I'd been there before I said "isn't this an urgent care", to which she replied "no, this is a private doctor's office". I am completely baffled, and she was not being facetious. She asked for ID, which I gave her, and told me I hadn't been there in over 3 years, and I had to fill out a form, which I did, and then when she asked for insurance, she had me email my Medicare card. This girl said "oh..you have Medicare?" I said yes. She paused, and said "I don''t know if we take Medicare, and I don't know if the doctor can see you!!" I know damn well they take Medicare! Finally, she said "let me seeeee if a doctor is available to help" (which is weird, whereas she just finished telling me they are not an urgent care place, as people are in the waiting room, and the name of the place is Emergimed). She said "I'm sorry, we can't help you". I grabbed my license and left. Basically I was denied care. So much for the HIPPA laws. Guess the HippO doesn't know HippA.
