Didn't properly manage expectations before the surgery…read more I met the doctor twice before the surgery and was explicitly clear about how I am physically active, train dialy, how function is my number one priority. Had this surgery been sold to me as pain management for older folks where function will be sacrificed, I would have not had my shoulder replaced. I now have a "bum" shoulder that does not work right. Activities I have engaged in all my life are no longer possible. When I noticed something wasn't right about 3 months after surgery the doctor replied with answers like "I think it looks better that way," or "I'm concerned how it looks, how's the pain?" Then when I pushed the doctor to fix this ugly mess, he cuts his losses and doesn't want to deal with it anymore. The results are ugly. I have a deep 1 inch indent/gash compared to my other shoulder and it's visible under cloths. If you carry extra muscle it will be far more noticeable. Note to the doctor: please don't include me in your 97% success rate. This guy doctors up his Google ratings. Don't be fooled into thinking he gets no negative reviews. I have 3 other orthopedic surgeons, a cat scan, 2 ultra sounds, and all say the same thing independently, this isn't right. Fortunately, I found a doctor to fix his mess.

Well...it was time again..same toe, along with another foot issue. Did not want another PrimaCare experience, so I found Dallas Podiatry Works. I went in expecting a similar painful experience. The front desk staff were friendly and professional, so that helped a bit. They needed X-Rays and having them done in-office was a nice touch. Dislike having to go different places for these things. The All-In-One is my preference. Anna, the prep nurse was nice and set me at ease for the ingrown removal. Dr. Northcutt is very thorough in asking questions and provided lots of insight and paperwork to explain what was going on and the next steps...sorry, pun intended. Once the doc started, we talked for a bit...his bedside manner is great...Anna came back in and the doc was done. I didn't even know he had done the procedure as I opted for the chair view blocker. Nothing like my first experience...it was literally painless and done quickly. The checkout was effortless and I was on my way...slower than when I came, but I was well taken care of. Bottomline: No one WANTS to go the foot doctor, but when you do...Dallas Podiatry Works is THE place. They have a Dallas and Plano location. TOA has been the super glue that keeps us all functioning! (Or until the next body part we try to rip off.) In this building are the offices on 3rd floor, the MRI center on the 3rd floor and the surgery center on the ground floor. This location is tied into the other locations in the region. That is a huge plus as it means once you are set up, everything is view-able from location to location, Doctor to Doctor, Doctor to Physical Therapist. They use smart tablets to enter your information and payment plus use online check-in. This location also has close parking! That is very important when you are limping in pain to see a doctor. It's also helpful when you just finished surgery and you want to get home NOW before the pain killers wear off. The staff at this location are fantastic! Very easy to work with, friendly, caring and absolutely want to help you heal! They are knowledgeable in working with insurance which can be challenge these days. If you break or tear a body part in this region, TOA is where you want to go!
