They knew this ahead of time. They were not very nice about this. In addition, they not only charged him a fortune (no professional courtesy) for his partial, it NEVER fit. He eventually transferred nursing homes. The VA in Aspinwall helped him as much as they possibly could. Without making a completely new one, he continued to be in pain. Said it could be an infection in the bone and the options might include a root canal or extraction. But being the cautious type, he recommended that I take an antibiotic first to see if that would clear up the infection. Sure enough, it did. Rather than coerce me into an expensive procedure he chose to put my interests first, which I appreciate tremendously. An ethical dentist with a naturally friendly personality.
