Terrible Communication and Predatory Pricing…read more Early August of 2025 I had a deeply disappointing experience with the service department at BMW Motorcycles of Jacksonville. I visited seeking advice for seven (7) technical/electrical errors on my 1250GSA. The service agent was incredibly dismissive, refusing to even look at me or listen to the errors shown on the pictures I made from my display while I was explaining them. Without even a cursory look at the pictures and the notes I made, he quoted me between $2,500 and $3,500 for diagnostics, claimed it would take three days on the computer to analyze, and told me the earliest appointment was 6 weeks away. Fortunately, I sought a second opinion at RiderMarket Daytona in Ormond Beach. Their service was world-class: CUSTOMER SERVICE: With one word; OUTSTANDING!! They listened to what I had to say. LOGISTICS: They picked up my bike from my home in Jacksonville and transported it to their shop for free. EFFICIENCY: The entire problem was diagnosed and resolved within three days. FAIRNESS: The total cost was $34 all-in and a staggering difference from Jacksonville's $3,500+ estimate. The beginning of January 2026 I reached out to the Jacksonville dealership via letter to discuss this massive price discrepancy and complained about the arrogance of their service and repair staff, but I have received zero response. It seems they are as uninterested in customer feedback as they are in fair pricing. The service was so unfriendly that I would now much rather drive an hour to Ormond Beach than deal with a team that makes me feel like I should apologize for being a paying customer. It is a shame, as the time I bought my motorcycle there in CASH was actually a good experience, but they have completely lost my trust and future business.

They charged me 680 to change fluids and put back my same plugs that I inserted and marked. Because of past experiences and it's not any better. After the first time they didn't fix anything at Regency, they moved it without my consent to Baymeadows. Damaged front foot pegs, gas tank, put fuel line in a bind so fuel wouldn't flow. Also the inserts used to extend fuel line were to small sucking in air and busting out. After 3 E-mail Alec Ademac thinks I'm going to eat this. Well think again. Baymeadows isn't any better. A lot of employees with the rearmed on their shoulders and I'd be scared to let them work on a skateboard board.

Even though I stressed to them how much I wanted the bike back, they still kept telling me that they are waiting on parts. Supposedly this part was cheaper. I waited an additional three and half weeks for this and we ended up buying from the original company which jacked my price by a couple of hundred. In short, my bike sat for over three weeks for a part to save money at which point I didn't save any money since it never came. Also, no one ever priced me correctly. They quoted me approximately $1000 and at the end I paid over $1600! They over shot their quote by $600 and underestimated time by over three weeks. Not once did they say I will take this off the price since it took so long. This wasn't the first time I have used them. I had a trailer get repaired by them. They first attempted to try and fixed it one way which took forever and failed. They charged me for that and they charged me again for a brand new axle and installed it. The price was somewhere around $700 for a broken axle for a trailer.
