Final straw on last ECU....told me he would have to replace injectors and more. I told him NO! Paid $2000.00 to get my NON RUNNING boat back!!! Found New guy to look at it and he told me the ECU that Gearhead installed and charged me for was not even the right ECU for my boat!! See my problem here? The owner came back with he would include it in the deal for "his cost, $95.00". I countered with, "I'm paying full retail price, you can include for the $95.00". He said no! He was silly enough to lose the whole deal for $95.00! I was very courteous and not demanding about anything during the whole process. If that small a difference made the deal fall thru, I certainly would not want him servicing the cart in the future. He probably would nickel and dime you to death if his margins are that small! What they don't know is that I work in the marine industry and understand tax and title in addition to other fees. They should stick to selling motorcycle, and be ready for a call from Yamaha Boat Group. Not a good look nor do they have a good reputation locally for watersports in general.
