Childcare academies we have been to before also had curriculums but little evidence of implementation. Wednesday's are music days and my son loves Mr. D, who comes to sing along nursery rhymes with the children and introduce them to music. Cleanliness and sanitation is a high priority for me and I am so happy to say that the school and the classrooms always look presentable. My LO has started taking a lot of interest in scientific experiments as well thanks to their recent science fair and the regular scientific experiments performed in classrooms with the children. I never thought my 3 year old would be interested in knowing magnets work, but his curiosity has now sparked, thanks to the Goddard Westridge Creek team.As a working mom I live for the updates on the Tadpoles app. The teachers are considerate enough to send ample pictures and videos throughout the day so the parents can get snippets into what their little ones are up to. At pick up and drop off the teachers are always available to speak to the parents and address any concerns. Overall, I am very happy with this school and yes there is a reason they call it a school and not a daycare. The teachers and the director were super nice and great during enrollment and the entire time my son was there. They made our start and abrupt stop very easing and we're very understanding and accommodating to our needs. It was the first time my son (4) had been in anything cause, you know, Covid. He was terrified of everything and having the camera to let me check in eased my mind a lot. His teachers helped calm him each morning and let him sit and do puzzles as his classmates trickled in. I do agree with a previous commenter that there aren't a lot of obvious Covid protocols in place. The kids did not wear masks, though my son does everywhere else, and they only washed hands and tables right before eating. They sit and sleep right next to each other and share just about everything. My biggest regret was that there was little to no free time or open center time for the kids. Everything was very structured from the product-art that his teacher obviously did or corrected to three/4 circle times and lots of table activities. He went outside once during his time there. Even if it's hot, kids need at least 15 mins outside a day to just move. Our plan was to send him there for socialization but he barely had time to do that. They provided food and snack but did not let me know if he ate anything or not. When I questioned him, he couldn't give me an answer either. They have a letter they send home but it's a generic one that has nothing to do with a specific lesson or activity or your child for that day. It was the same one for the whole week and pointless. Works for older kids, perhaps, but I sent more detailed ones when I worked in Early Education and even as a fourth grade teacher. Overall, it wasn't what I was expecting but it wasn't bad. We pulled my son out cause he got sick a week and a half in. It was a regular cold from new, preschool germs, but with Covid on the rise again, we just pulled him for at home care.

None of the teachers here understand English nor speak it well, save your time and money and suffering and take your Buisness else where. Yes, they have a fantastic facility, security, high tech interactive gym, very clean, healthy meals...but the most important thing is how the teachers engage and interact with our children. I could give several examples, but we've had a child who passed out due to a breath-hold spell that a teacher quickly acted on and potentially saved our Child's life. This was all caught on video. I've seen teachers buy our child a little gift for Christmas out of their own pocket book. They have helped us get our infants into the building when it was raining. They keep us in the loop if there's any concern for our children. They keep us updated on their individual development process. This is just the type of people they are! And because we've been elsewhere, we know not everyone is like that! One key indicator is our children don't cry when we drop them off at school, they run to class excited. This was not true of the other places. Under the bridge program, my son flourished and was prepared for KISD's kinder curriculum. Before enrolling, check the Texas HHS public child-care compliance history for any daycare you are considering. Parents have the right to review inspection reports and compliance history. For BPPS on S. Mason Rd, I found a Texas HHS deficiency dated 10/7/2025 for Standard 746.2805(3), "Prohibited Punishments - Grabbing and Pulling." The public narrative states there was sufficient evidence that a child was grabbed while in care. The record also states the deficiency was corrected, and compliance was verified on 11/13/2025. I'm sharing this so other parents know to check public records, read fee policies carefully, and ask questions before enrolling.

They cared for our children as if they were their own and truly became like family to so many of us. The teachers and staff created a loving, safe environment that my family trusted every day, and I will always be grateful for them. What makes this so heartbreaking is that on June 16, families and staff were notified that the school would permanently close on June 26--giving everyone barely over a week to prepare. Families are now scrambling to find childcare, while many dedicated employees are left facing uncertainty about how they'll provide for their own families. While I have nothing but appreciation for the teachers and front-line staff, I am deeply disappointed in the decision by COO Tammy Dagey and company leadership to handle the closure this way. A decision of this magnitude deserved far more notice and consideration for both the families who rely on this center and the employees whose livelihoods depend on it. The staff deserve 5 stars. They were the heart of this school. This review reflects my gratitude for them and my sadness and frustration with how this closure was handled.
