The teachers are so clean, respectful, always a smile on their face, they don't take home life to work. Upbeat, and want the best for all the kids and most of all nurturing to every child. My son comes home so smart and they send so many pictures and videos! Calls me when any sign of sickness or issue. They even re-fix the kids hair after nap which I think shows how much they truely care. No teacher has to do that. You will love Ms. Yessi and Ms. Hart they make a great team! That's so important in teaching and childcare! Being around 2 years olds is very stressful (as anyone going this far to read this knows) but they handle it with grace and confidence. They can handle ANYTHING! My son even holds his arms out for her when i drop him off, (it took awhile) but that shows a lot! The staff has also been great, with payment situations and always a smile when walking in, monthly events we always attend and it's so well put together and enjoyable. I feel i made the right choice enrolling my son.

Our daughter has learned SO MUCH and comes home with new knowledge everyday. They communicate extremely well and always provide necessary info. Calendars to help keep you up-to-date, reach out and alert you of any changes made (even daily meals which may be overkill but, I'm for it!). The teachers and the director were super nice and great during enrollment and the entire time my son was there. They made our start and abrupt stop very easing and we're very understanding and accommodating to our needs. It was the first time my son (4) had been in anything cause, you know, Covid. He was terrified of everything and having the camera to let me check in eased my mind a lot. His teachers helped calm him each morning and let him sit and do puzzles as his classmates trickled in. I do agree with a previous commenter that there aren't a lot of obvious Covid protocols in place. The kids did not wear masks, though my son does everywhere else, and they only washed hands and tables right before eating. They sit and sleep right next to each other and share just about everything. My biggest regret was that there was little to no free time or open center time for the kids. Everything was very structured from the product-art that his teacher obviously did or corrected to three/4 circle times and lots of table activities. He went outside once during his time there. Even if it's hot, kids need at least 15 mins outside a day to just move. Our plan was to send him there for socialization but he barely had time to do that. They provided food and snack but did not let me know if he ate anything or not. When I questioned him, he couldn't give me an answer either. They have a letter they send home but it's a generic one that has nothing to do with a specific lesson or activity or your child for that day. It was the same one for the whole week and pointless. Works for older kids, perhaps, but I sent more detailed ones when I worked in Early Education and even as a fourth grade teacher. Overall, it wasn't what I was expecting but it wasn't bad. We pulled my son out cause he got sick a week and a half in. It was a regular cold from new, preschool germs, but with Covid on the rise again, we just pulled him for at home care.

From day one, I felt confident in the caring , stuctured, and academically rich environment the school provided. Fast forward to now-my child has entered Kindergarten with confidence and skills well beyond expectations. Thanks to The I School, my little one is already able to read short sentences, sound out CVC words, recognize sight words, and even demonstrate reading comprehension! But what's blown me away the most is the mental math-he can recognize numbers up to 100 and add and subtract without using the fingers. It's incredible. The teachers at The I School are not only kind and nurturing , but also truly invested in each child's development. The curriculum is both fun and rigorous, striking a perfect balance that kept my child engaged every day. I'm so thankful we enrolled our child in thid school and war recommended by our close friends. It was one of the best decisions we've made for our child's deucation.

Every morning, Ms. Tolu is ready with hugs, kind words, and encouragement for the day. If our daughter's had a tough morning, Ms. Tolu notices and takes time to help her. If our daughter has a new dress or a new hairdo that she wants noticed, the front desk and Ms. Tolu are there to feed her confidence! Both of our daughters love being at Ivy Kids. Ms. Oneida still hugs and cares for our daughters even though neither of them are in her class, currently. She's great! I am extremely disappointed at the lack of sensitivity from the school at this time during the Covid 19 pandemic. The school hasn't been sensitive to the financial constraints parents are facing. Sugar Creek Montessori has not adjusted the tuition for the time the school has been closed (two weeks now). They have charged parents for the normal curriculum which includes full time staff and materials but are only providing "ONLINE TEACHING" which should be offered at a discount. Some of us are out of work or have reduced incomes. Others are trying to manage the demands of working from home while taking care of our kids. I've sent multiple emails regarding a refund or at least a credit and all I get is a generic response "Thank you for your feedback". I have tried calling, but I of course do not get an answer. Understand, I am not giving you my feedback I need an answer! Your policy is "NO PRORATION FOR SICKNESS AND/OR VACATION", however, this is not a vacation, this is an unfortunate situation the world has encountered so all I am asking for is for fairness and my tuition to be valued at the product I am getting or lack of product to be honest. My child has been at this school for 2 years now and has enjoyed his time there. His teachers are great and he loves them very much. We have never had any issues prior to this situation, but at this point I feel the need to complain and voice my frustration with the administration. I have called around to check other schools policies and I am astonished to find out that 2 owners of two well known Montessori schools are discounting the tuition due to this pandemic situation without hesitation. I would hope that your school or should I say our school would be one of the local schools to acknowledge the services being rendered do not warrant the tuition fees we paid during the month of March. As of now, parents have been told April tuition will be charged once the school figures out how to offer an "off-site curriculum".
