Management was definitely not the same nor the positive vibes there used to be. The teachers were still great with my child. However, the way issues were being handled, was not satisfactory. I was no longer comfortable in trusting them with my daughter as issues were not resolved fairly. The plus side was I was not charged any fees for having my child removed immediately. I enrolled my child in a different TLE location and was pleased with the new location which abided by policies and comforted me to trust them with the care for my child.

Once we made the choice to put our son back in childcare the search began. I've heard great things about all the Primrose schools and approached the one in kelliwood. The staff was so helpful during the crazy time and even provided a video walk through of the school when parents weren't allowed to enter. We started with summer enrollment and then continued for Pre-K. My son has learned so much during his time here. I heard about so many children getting behind and I never felt like we were in that boat. I write this with tears in my eyes as our Primrose journey is coming to an end with our youngest attending elementary in the fall. When my older daughter was two I knew she needed to transition from a private nanny to a school environment. I did my research; I checked out every "outstanding" preschool in the Katy area! I wanted a school that REALLY CARED about my daughter, met my ridiculously high cleanliest/hygienic standards, provided healthy foods (I have a degree in Dietetics), and provided outstanding academic curriculum. Most importantly, I wanted a school that would be an extension of "home" for her. Primrose was the soft place we landed and it was the best decision for our family. My oldest daughter started in Preschool A and attended through the Explorers program (3rd grade). My youngest started at 8 weeks old in the infant room and just completed her Kindergarten year at the Kelliwood location. I am in awe of how much my daughters grew in their time there. Primrose is certainly a leader in early education with their curriculum extending far beyond ABC's and numbers. The children learn essential life skills, critical thinking, social skills, good manners, how to be good citizens of the world, ways to be healthy, and get to experience frequent hands-on-learning field trips (Pre-K and older), etc. Both of my girls are/were more than prepared for elementary school. My oldest transitioned into the GT program in elementary and my youngest is leaving Primrose Kindergarten on a 1st grade level for math and reading. And while academics are important, it's really the staff that has made our time there such a sweet experience. The teachers and administration truly care about each student. They are vibrant and fun, they love on the kids, they come up with creative and fun learning activities and are always throwing a party for something! It is truly a family atmosphere. When COVID-19 began and students started online learning, Ms. Klein (Kinder teacher) and the staff created a seamless transition. I was impressed by their creativity in finding different and fun ways to engage with the kids as if they were in the classroom! When we went to visit she greeting us with smile as the Assistant Director took us around. Ms. Navalon, Ms Claudia, Ms. Safia, Ms Alice, and Ms Carolyn were so accommodating and assured me that my LO was going to be well taken care of. By the end of the walk through, we went over the plans and they encouraged us to visit other centers and let them know. They didn't force us to make a decision and I didn't feel hustled. My LO stayed for 9 months until we moved and I wish with all my heart that I could take the entire staff with me. She loved it and knew when it was a "daycare day". They sent frequent pictures with commentary on her mood, the intake log included how much of each bottle she took, when she was sick and couldn't attend (gut bug, 1st colds etc) they sent messages to make sure she was ok, and they sent home her art projects which was frequent. They have a surplus of age appropriate activities and I could tell my LO was learning. Best of all - for me at least- the staff had no less than 5 years experience. I'd say the average was 9 years with the company and location. They are affordable, the curriculum is amazing and they care for the child as well as the family. I miss their expertise dearly. They have no curriculum for the kids and they would be like zombies with the damn tv on ALL day! my sons grandmother picked him up and sent me a picture of my sons eye and she was told it was a fish allergy. They never contacted me nor anyone else on the emergency contact list. I called furious and they had no report or explanation. Nobody knew what happened, the next morning was when my son woke up with a bruise and a swollen eye, I immediately unenrolled him and went up there so they can see for themselves, still no explanation. I told Mrs.Perri I would report them to cps and she begged that I don't because she would get to the bottom of it. Till this day I have yet to know, weather it was negligence or someone hit my son. I highly recommend that you please go find a better daycare. They are always accepting children but it is because all they care about is money. The children to teacher ration is by law and they don't follow it. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. None of the teachers here understand English nor speak it well, save your time and money and suffering and take your Buisness else where. Let's start with my son his behavior began to be so bad he was loving after some times he began hitting and crying every time I dropped him off and when I pick him up his eyes would just shine to leave . When they don't calm down especially from gas .i loved her teachers! they were great, but there is 0 to 12 month babies in one class so that means a 1 year old can be walking on your new born and they wouldn't even notice because they have a lot to do !! And can't see everything happen . But that's WASN'T THE ISSUE my daughter got covid from one of the teachers in there that had covid ! And has given her permanent respiratory problems to this day she was 4 months when she left that daycare and now she's 10 months . And I tell the office she just brushed it off like "oh it's just like the flu" and failed to let any of the teachers or parents for the baby's in that class to know my daughter have covid to warn another parents baby because it is contagious!! But no nothing was informed just brushed of.she would be sick EVER WEEEK like I don't get how she would never get better as soon as I changed her school she hasn't gotten sick one time !! This daycare really needs cameras or to get better management and more professional teachers they made it seem like my child was the issue with his behavior but it's the teachers and what they do to him/them behind closed doors I fear for any child in those class rooms for what really happens when we parents are not there
