The sausage was pretty killer, a tad spicy. The mushroom pasta had a tinge of lemony zest to it. Morels were deliciously panfried in butter. My favorite was the to go order for a third person though: pistachio Alfredo, a similar sauce to the wild mushroom pasta but a bit nuttier. Zero complaints with the food, and i look forward to the owners new location (pizza Lotties) that will be opening soon i hear. This place is dangerously close to five star perfection, if only it were not so crowded (locals know whats up) and it's also a bit loud. The open air kitchen is a nice touch but probably doesn't help with the noise. Imo good food for decent value and would be worth the wait (you can enter into the waitlist online which i will certainly do next time and probably opt for patio seating if possible) All in all very satisfied. This place has a cool menu that seems to evolve and explore the culinary arts. I could hear people in the back, chatting and laughing. I know times are tough, it's hard to find staff, etc so possibly think about having customers order food at the counter and have drink refills accessible so customers can refill their own soda, tea and water. Later, I received a text message saying they were unable to redeliver because their delivery scheduling system was down, and that I would need to come pick it up instead. I explained that I couldn't do that because I have an infant who had just gone to sleep. At that point, I was frustrated -- the situation started with a mistake on their end, and a pickup solution didn't resolve the issue for me. That said, I do want to acknowledge that the owner/manager stepped in and worked to make it right. He offered compensation and ultimately arranged for a new order to be placed and paid for personally so it could be delivered to us. While the initial experience was inconvenient and frustrating -- especially with the communication being handled by text instead of a call -- I appreciate the effort that was made afterward to rectify the situation. I hope future orders go more smoothly, but I do respect a business that takes responsibility and tries to fix a mistake.
