Even as an interior designer who'd normally be offended at such a thing- I am NOT because this is the best pizza in all of South Carolina and possibly in 3 states! Firstly, the people are super friendly and they remember their customers' faces. They make the pizza right in front, so as soon as you walk in the door, you are greeted with grace, you smell the delish, and see the brick oven and the prep area. Their dough: I don't know what they do to make it like crack, but with brick oven pizza, the dough can make it or break it. This dough is the tastiest and the best texture I've had in decades. The sauce: perfect acidity on the tomato sauce; I haven't had any of their "white" sauces, so can't comment. Their pizza of the month is usually creative and is always great! I've had some combinations at Rebel that I'd never, ever think to put together. Someone has a great palate there! We generally eat at Rebel Pie once a week- and have never tired of it.
