This is now my go-to for pizza! The calzones are excellent as well. (We have only sampled those 2 items on the menu.) No dine-in option but we live nearby so that's not a problem. The food has been consistently excellent. Everything tastes fresh and like someone actually cares about the food they are serving. I have never really liked pizza crust and usually just eat the toppings. But I will scarf a whole slice of this pizza and actually enjoy the crust. Just the dough alone is that good! Vinny went above and beyond to help us take care of a large customer in Darlington today. He recommended menu items that the customer prefers because he's experienced in dealing with that customer. He really worked hard to make it a great experience. And on the day when the food was to be delivered, he personally delivered it, and made sure that everything was set up perfectly. The pepperoni calzone is very good, but I wasn't a fan of the wings due to not having enough sauce.

Worth the 6 min drive from the highway! So incredible!!! When I walked in initially, I was hesitant to eat here. I was quickly greeted nicely from a lady who said have a seat anywhere, we will find you. This took my gaurd down and I took a seat. I ordered the 12" cheese pizza! I split it with my friend. It was plenty for the two of us. If I was really hungry a large would have been the better way to go. I was pleasantly surprised by the taste of the pizza. It was delicious!! I wouldn't say it's an authentic NYC pizza, but very tasty with quality ingredients. The sauce was the perfect amount and it came nice and cheesy. read more

Anybody passing by on 95/20 and looking for great food , this is your spot!!! 1000% better that olive garden or other national chains. It's a small place but is definitely a gem of SC not just of Darlington. I travel a lot and this place has the best lasagne i've ever eaten. 5 stars all the way!! After looking at these other reviews we decided to try. We ordered the garlic knots, Philly cheese steak with fries and a 10 inch made to order pizza. All of this was great. I had to check out the sea salt Carmel cheese cake. It was wonderful. A very nice, clean restaurant. Easy to find the they have drive thru even. We will be back again read more

I recently moved to the Darlington area from the Raleigh-Durham area of North Carolina. Before that, I lived in California. I had resigned myself to a total lack of authentic restaurants and a daily drive that included nothing but fast food chains. That was before I located this place near downtown Darlington. I found it by accident when I drove through the ATM lane of my bank. When you walk in the restaurant, the aroma is incredible. This is not some insulting, wanna be pizza place selling Italian stereotypes. This is the real deal that seems as if it has been transported from NYC direct to Darlington. Everything here is fresh and I have since learned that the owner uses the local produce to table philosophy in the preparation of his dishes. You're not going to find any cans from the local distributor in his kitchen. I had forgotten what truly fresh Italian cuisine was like. read more

This place is great and affordable! It's right off the square with lots of parking and daily specials - just check their Facebook page. I love a sit down pizza joint, and this has filled that void for me since leaving Charleston.I know I mentioned pizza, but I don't want to put Mamma Mia's in a box because they do so much more than pizza - it's a real Italian diner! Living in Darlington can be frustrating if you are looking for something different to try. Many places serve meat and three and have irregular hours. I have always had good experiences eating a Mamma Mia's. The food is always good and I've never had a bad experience with service. I feel like more people should know about this place and come try it. It is hidden back behind the square on Ward St. But once you get back there, you can't miss the yellow building. They also do a really good job at sharing their specials every day on Facebook. I was a little disappointed once when I was craving some Italian for Saturday lunch and they weren't open. The last time I ate here with my sister we ordered the Tiramisu for desert and it made up for that Saturday they were closed! read more

Italian dishes are good, burgers are meh, service is YEESH! Been here several times, always been satisfied with the food and service. Stopped coming for six months, came back, and the difference was night and day. Staff forgot my drink order, served me an order of onion rings that consisted of 5 tiny loops and several pieces of fried dough from the bottom of the bag. After I left, I discovered the missing drink and onion ring "order" and had to return. When informed this was unacceptable, the staff gave me french fries and sent me on my way, with no apology, as my pizza got cold. When I arrived home, my wife found out that they overcooked her burger and forgot the feta cheese! Despite my enjoyment of the Italian dishes, I will not be returning until their staff gets it together. read more

Also place an order to go which was a pizza and sub had to wait additional 10 minutes after we finished eating before it was ready.
