Came to this specific location for a birthday party and everything is just waaaay over priced! I understand we're in a in inflation but DA**! Decided to get an order of wings with some fries for my me and my mom (says wings serves 2), the cashier said it would be at least 8-10 wings, but when our order was ready it was 7 wings! They also tasted like they were air fried! French fries was not crunchy but soggy and definitely not worth $5! I'm a bit disgusted because for $35 we got a small order of fries, 7 wings, and 2 drinks. Come on Chuckie Cheese! Yall can do better than this! Especially when people are spending large amounts of money for birthday parties and for their kids to play. My son and his family were in from Germany with my 2 very small granddaughters, and I really wanted to take them to Chuck E. Cheese. We'd never been to this particular Chuck E. Cheese, but we'd been to others in Virginia and out of state with my stepdaughter. This one is in the bustling area off Carl D. Silver. It is clean and festive inside, but admittedly this one is much, much smaller than several others I've been to. Sadly, there wasn't a whole lot of things for very small children. Most of what was available was for children between 5-7 years of age. Chuck E. Cheese himself does come out and make an appearance on the hour every hour. If your child follows him, they will get to sit for tickets that are thrown in the air for them to basically fight over, that can be used for the cheap, dollar store items, that are overly extravagant in comparison to cost. This is typical of all Chuck E. Cheese's. You can request a photo with Chuck E. Cheese at the end of the parade, for no cost, but you really have to chase him down, because he is in there and out of there fairly quick. All machines were in working order and the food was delicious! I don't know what Chuck E. Cheese did to change their recipe with their pizza, but it was very tasty. We didn't get anything off the salad bar, but it looked fresh and clean. They can get expensive, but if you're going to stay awhile, the combo pizza/ticket deals with the tickets are the better value. They don't tell you, but they do charge for every single rubber wrist band that holds the cards. They asked how many cards did I want. I said, "I don't know...Four". I didn't realize I'd get a separate charge for splitting our tickets among the 4 cards! This should have been spoken beforehand. Once you purchase those cards/wristbands, you can reload them, so hang on to them. Staff were friendly and I do think that in the end, my granddaughters (ages 1 and 2), were too young to really enjoy the experience of Chuck E. Cheese. But this could definitely be a fun experience for those a little older. read more

Ok. Let me start by saying that I haven't been to a Chuck E. Cheese in years! I use to take my oldest who is now 15 years old. I now have a 3 year old(big gap). It was very clean inside . The salad bar, drink area, pizza location and the bathroom was very clean. The games they had was super boring not much fun for my 3 year old at all. I was upset I even paid 27.00 for 45 mins of game time. I mean, it was nothing much for him to even play! He was bored and I couldn't wait for him to use all his time up. That's sounds sad but omg!! Not what it used to be at all. I'm not sure if it's just this location or what. I remember it being a lot of fun games back in the day. I was just disappointed because I was really thinking to give my son a party there but no thank you. It was really boring. Best darn pizza you will ever eat!! I don't know if they changed management or what, but we took my daughter there few years ago and it was horrible...games didn't work, food was mediocre and the floors were filthy... NOW they have new carpets, it's clean, all the games work and the pizza if fantastic-the bread is so garlicy... Great stuff. Kind of pricy but worth it. Facility overall very well maintained and all games were in good operating order. Salad bar was well stocked and all ingredients were fresh. There is a decent variety of games. This particular facility is smaller than others in the Northern Virginia area. Staff was friendly enough! I took my nephew here a few months back for his 5th birthday. We went midday on a Friday and there were only a few other people in there the first hour or so, then it started to get a few more but never crowded. The greeter at the front was super great explaining how everything worked as we told him it was our first time and giving my nephew some free tickets for his birthday. I recommend doing the timed play cards if you want to play lots of games, I didn't think they were that expensive and its great for the kids to be able to go from game to game to game without worrying about how much it costs. You can even pause it once to go to the bathroom or stop and eat something which is a really nice feature. It is great for younger kids on how many tickets the machines give, even if they mess up the game they still get a few so they always are excited. Of course the tickets don't get you much in the way of prizes with the tickets as they're so easy to get so everything costs a lot of tickets, but the girl behind the counter was awesome when she heard it was his birthday and gave us way more than we actually had tickets for which was really nice. I recommend getting the app for their rewards, as you automatically get a free individual pizza from doing so, and we got it and I tried it and would say it is comparable to other chain pizza places. Not amazing but definitely not terrible pizza. All in all I was very pleased with the staff, facilities, and value. I can for sure see how it could be a lot going there often or for birthdays on on weekends when it is crowded, so I get why most of my friends with kids aren't too fond of it. Great place to take a kid for their birthday since the staff really does try to make it special. Just leave plenty of time for the ticket counting machine at the end as it takes forever... They are pretty low to the ground (makes sense as it is for kids) so I was bending down for a while to do it and finally took a cue from another adult there (who seemed like a Chuck E Cheese veteran) and just sat on the floor to put in the hundreds of single tickets for counting. read more

Havent been to chuck e cheese in years...took my 2 year old granddaughter. The ball pit is gone for germ concerns and they now have tap cards to make it easier. Staff was very nice, place was extremely clean and the bathrooms well kept. My biggest beef over the years was the terrible pizza. We reserved a birthday for my son and the bad experience started at the door. My husband and I walked through the door, him carrying 2 things, and I carrying 5 including our infant in a car seat. The woman at the door, which she later introduced herself as Gracie, asked me to put down what I was carrying to take a picture of my group on my phone but told my husband he could walk right through. I asked why he didn't need to be in the photo and she said "I didn't want him to drop anything". She then followed extremely close to my side to our table and started spouting questions before I could even unload my arms. She asked if we wanted to order any adult pizzas to which I replied I would have to ask my husband how many he thought we would need. She told me I needed to ask him right now because they had to make the pizza in the back. My son was eating his pizza and when he took a break to chew his third Gracie told me he was done and I should let him go play. During our 2 hour party she continued to find my husband to ask him meaningless questions like if he was the dad or not. He was trying to walk past her and she backed her behind into him as he passed. After my son participated in their ticket blaster I mentioned he should finish opening his presents to which Gracie chimed in with telling me that wasn't a good idea because we needed to leave in 30 minutes. Later she asked me to fill out their 1 question survey as she watched to ensure they received a 10/10. The food is overpriced and the party tables are close enough to breathe on the party next to you. We were told on the phone during our party they would reserve at least 1 high table for the adults as the tables wouldn't hold everyone. The high tops were given to other parties. one of the smaller chuck e cheese establishments that we've been to. they only have FOUR ticket munchers -- which sucks if the place is full! there aren't many games to choose from, but the kids have fun none the less. parking near the front can be terrible when it is busy, but there is more parking available on the side. salad bar always has wilted & browning lettuce! :( read more

This place is not bad for wearing my boy out to ensure he gets a good night sleep. If I had to say anything about this place it would be that parents should be more careful about there kids running around like they do. We bit the bullet and took our 17 month old son here last night. If you don't like the sound of kids yelling and screaming non-stop, this is not your place. When you go in, you and your family are all marked with a special ink so that when you leave, you can't steal someone's kid. You stand in line to order food. We got a special that was a large pizza, 2 fountain drinks, and like 20 tokens for the games for like $26. So they give you a # and you go find a table to sit at. That was the hard part- there were alot of dirty tables! They really needed someone to jump out there and bus them, that's for sure.I had read on the website that they have a special "toddler" area, so we searched that out. We found it, and there was an empty table, so this is where we made camp. Our baby ran around in awe while hubby went and filled up our drinks. There were several little "rides" in that section, which basically just jiggled our son. I wish there was a little more there for him. Then the pizza came. We just got the vegetarian one to make it easy. The pizza was surprisingly good! After we ate we walked around, seeing if there was anything at all our baby could do, and sadly there wasn't. He's just too young for this place. So we saved about 15 tokens for next time, which will be in about 2 years. What an awesome place to have a birthday party, though, if you are, like, 6! read more

Forgetting the fact that we went there on a Saturday night, the place was a complete zoo. They really need to monitor how many people they allow in there at a time. It was way over crowded, all the kids had to wait in line for all of the machines and at least half of them were out of tickets or didn't work at all and the only way to find that out was to use your coins and not get them back. Finding staff to reimburse our coins was impossible because they all had long lines and not worth it for the number of times it kept happening to us. Another reviewer was right, they only had 4 ticket counters which we had to wait a long time for so we could checkout. We thought we would try it once and we will not be going back. In fact we will be going directly across the street to Funland where we have never experienced any of these issues. read more

My family was at a game and got the jackpot. It had run out of tickets so my son went to the counter and asked for help. 10 minutes later no one had come, so my husband asked. The girl at the counter asked the manager Shawna if she could help a customer. Shawna Ridley replied "I'm busy". We've now been waiting 25 minutes and have since walked away from the game. I have to say we had a good time here. We had family down and found it a nice break from making lunch and it was a good time for the kids. The older two are 5 and the younger 2 are 2. Everyone had a good time. The location has been renovated which was nice. We didn't have any issues with dirty tables. All the games were working as well. The staff was very helpful. We went here for a birthday party and my daughter who is 19months and able to enjoy the little "toddler" area could not. This place was ridiculous, there was kids at least six and seven running through the toddler area and up the slide and on top of it. When we complained that these kids were too big to be in there only the child on top of the slide was told to get down. My daughter nearly missed being trampled by kids running up the slide when she tried to go down!! We also had random kids just sit down at our table and try to eat the cake (which had not been cut yet) and then proceed to other peoples tables to take their food.
