This review is from a young boy's 9th birthday party we attended mid- February. Overall, clean. Severely understaffed. We had to pay $7-8 extra just to utilize the trampoline which we had to request and wait for them to unlock, more than once, because they didn't have enough staff to supervise. It's annoying to pay extra and then have to repeatedly request to use the said item we paid extra for. The manager, James, was rude. Some of the kids at the party took cups from the wrong table and he let us know. My friend offered to pay the deficit, but eventually he relented and did not charge her. I was annoyed by his attitude that we owe some business money when the table wasn't supervised by staff, when we didn't realize the kids took from the wrong table, and when these stupid plastic cups probably cost the company less than 10 cents each! I spoke up, saying something like, "I don't think it's fair you're holding the customer responsible for a misunderstanding." He got angry and accused me of wanting something for nothing. This is after I PAID EXTRA to utilize equipment they were being stingy with. I was so pissed and was going to complain to the manager... but he WAS the manager. An employee, Sarah, saved the day by being an amazing worker and leading the kids in song and dance. She was kind, energetic and a breath of fresh air after dealing with James stifling personality. Sarah is the sole reason this is not a one star review. The food was gross. Kids didn't really eat the pizza. I went to use the bathroom and saw that Chuck E. Cheese was hiring for up to $11.50 per hour. No wonder James was ungodly worried about the cups. The company can't afford to pay him a living wage. How could they ever recoup a 3 plastic cup loss? I have no interest in ever patronizing Chuck E. Cheese again. The food is gross. The manager was awful, and the company doesn't pay employees enough to deal with the headache of sugar crazed, screaming kids. Hard pass. read more

Very clean with friendly and put together staff. Almost all the machines were working well with no issues. The kids enjoyed it but it was very small. There were a few video games for older kids (ages 5-12) with plenty of games for younger kids. A little bit too expensive for what it is but that's to be expected. Overall good experience. read more

Went for a birthday party and it was fun. Table was set up and ready to go. They each got cards to play for 2 hours and then take all the ticket points to get prizes. Pizza was served then dipping dots ice cream. They did a dance with Chuckie Cheese. The kids all had a blast with the playing time. The food was good. I would definitely do a birthday for my kids when the time comes. read more

the lady at the desk on duty is extremely unprofessional. apologized to us on why our beeper for our food never went off. Beeper 11. but when we asked if the food was sitting long and why no one would tell us it was sitting, she rolls her eyes. When called out on her rolling her eyes she immediately tries to say she'll kick me out...... For calling you out on being unprofessional and rolling your eyes ? point blank period. horrible customer service. might as well change to self serve kiosks, better service. read more

This is the visit to the newly renovated portage location. Very big lots of space and friendly employees. Lots of games for the kids too. Doesn't feel constricting. The one thing I miss is the Animatronic band, they are gone and instead they have a two monitors that are kind of small. Kids don't seem to care so no big deal. read more

Oh, Chuck E., what have you done? You took every single good thing you had going for you and just chucked it all away, replacing it with just... ugh. So S wanted to surprise her daughter (my niece) with a surprise trip up here, and I tagged along for the ride because hey, pizza and games are awesome. So we drove up here and walked on in, hoping that things ought to still be at least as good as the last time we were here. Yeah, things looked okay at first- we paid for lunch and it appeared that they'd actually embraced technology- there are no more tokens, but the money's now on cards. However... the games still give out paper tickets. Come on, guys, Airway is a smaller business compared to you and they've gone completely digital- keeping paper tickets is really kind of wasteful, yeah? The food... the salad is still good, the dressings still decent, but the pizza... good grief. It's terrible. Whatever they changed in the recipe ought to be changed back, pronto. I had a slice of the sausage and a slice of the specialty today (Hawaiian), and while the sausage had barely enough sauce, the Hawaiian has to be the worst pizza I've had in years. Starving ninja turtles wouldn't touch this stuff with a ten-foot pole. As far as the games, well, it seemed like every other machine was broken or inoperable. My niece wanted to go on the roller coaster simulator- nope, that's broken. She wanted to shoot baskets with her uncle- nope, only one basketball game works. I watched another family on a ride that had actual honest-to-anything audio and technical stuttering as it tried to get through its cycle. Then my niece wanted some ice cream- nope, that machine's busted too! Rapidly running out of patience, I tried to burn some play credit off the card, but being that everything here is still one credit to play, S and I looked at each other and just decided that it wasn't worth it to keep playing- the temp inside the building was too warm (air conditioning isn't an evil thing, guys!) and my niece was getting cranky because she'd not liked the pizza either and hadn't eaten much. So we just called it with fifteen bucks of play credit still on a card and got out of there. I've never before left an arcade with playtime still on the card, but to be honest, we'd just had it with Chuck E. Cheese. It's going to be a long time before we come back, if ever. Bad food, broken games, no A/C... just save yourself the gas and go over to Airway instead. read more

Food gets two stars but the decent salad bar might bump it up to three, but the games are the real deal here and I'll let that get it up to 4. Kids have a blast, and the games get changed for new ones every so often which keeps it fresh. There's a huge tube for crawling around in, and the mouse comes out and throws tickets at the kids every so often. Nobody comes here just because they want to go out to eat for dinner, so I don't think the food quality should be what determines the review. read more

I have a four and seven year old so we visit this place a few times a year. We rarely eat here , just come for games. I've had the pizza and it's just ok, but no one comes for the pizza anyway. Never tried the salad bar but it looks decent. My favorite time to go it around 10-11am. The place is a ghost town and the kids can freely run around playing all the games. You can usually get a coupon online for 100 tokens for $20, which will keep two kids busy quite a while. I find the place, when we go, to be very clean as well. read more

Customer service was awesome, staff friendly. Pizza was delish. Prices reasonable. Kid friendly, and clean. No complaints, the card play pass is a bonus, no more tokens!! so it was worth the purchase, and easy to manage! There should more to do as far as set up for games and so forth!! This use to be nice place to spend a Sunday afternoon with the kids. Decent food, lots to do, and friendly customer service. But this visit was way to overpriced, pizza was terrible, and the man who seemed to be a manager was rude. My 5 yr old grandson was trying to redeem his tickets and the man was like "you need to tell me a color and quit pointing because I can't see what you're pointing at". He's lucky this Nana is a God fearing woman and walked out with dignity instead of speaking my mind and embarrassing my family. I just reassured my grandson that, that man must've been having a bad day. Won't go back for awhile, if ever. read more

Booked a large and expensive birthday for my son here. We were suppose to have a host to help us during our time there. We brought our own party supplies as we had a special theme. Arrived early so we could set up. The group of tables we were lead to still had all the stuff on it from the previous party; table cloths, pizza pan, chunks of cake, gift wrap, paper plates, cups half full of pop, etc. The host says I have to go do something, I'll be back in a minute to start cleaning up. I wait and wait and the guy is gone. So I started cleaning myself because I've got guests arriving shortly. I even took a load of pizza pans back to the kitchen. Got it all cleaned up, even wiped the tables and chairs down, and put on our decorations. Now the guests arrive. Finally our host shows up, says he's sorry but they are busy and they need his help. I manage to place the food order and I order a couple of extra pizza's because some of the parents chose to stay. The kids go and play and eventually our pizza arrives. The host says he'll do the serving, but he has to do something, promises he'll be right back. I ended up serving the kids myself. Host just disappears. So we move on to opening presents. Now it's time for the cake. To make more room, for the second time that day, I clean up all the tables and take pizza pans back to the kitchen. We brought our own cake because it was decorated with our theme. I put the candles on the cake. I realize I don't have my camera. I walk over to the booth where our extra stuff is and the host suddenly shows up, quickly lights the candles and had the kids singing 'Happy Birthday'. I'm still trying to find my camera, once I did, I was only able to get two pictures because the host decided it was time to get a move on. He quickly cuts the cake, serves it and was gone. All that money spent and some of the worst service ever. I paid so we could have a host and we barely saw the guy. I wanted to complain to the manager, but being my son's birthday I decided not to upset him. read more
