The bahn mis are decent. I ordered the grilled pork, it was tasty and not too fatty. Good protein to veggie ratio. My mom and brother said they liked their shredded chicken bahn mi. My matcha milk tea was ok. The tapioca boba was soggy. I prefer mine slightly chewy. I requested 50% sweetness but it was still too sweet. We went in just to get a couple teas and a dessert, we got a cinnamon milk cake which I was hoping would be way better It was very dry and not much flavor, The Toro milk tea was lacking in flavor The peach tea was pretty good as for staff there was only three people total working One of them was doing everything from the counter to serving food to also working at the place next door which is combined. It took us 15 minutes to get everything we ordered and we only had three things One of which was already prepared. It was super loud due to the play place next door. read more

Had a pretty decent experience, the food was very tasty, absolutely love the pho here! It was clearly very busy when we came in, only a couple people on staff for this shift for 40+ adults and children, but they certainly did their best. My son found Korean corn dogs on Tik Tok and actually found this place here in portage that made them. I tell you what, they are excellent! definitely will coming back for more. I am only giving three stars but I am willing to give them another chance and hopefully give a five star rating. After getting my nails done, I went here with my friend and tried to order a Thai iced tea slush bubble tea but the guy at the register wouldn't really give it to me unless I had the crème brûlée swirl (???) and didn't ask me the amount of sugar I wanted. Their taro slush bubble tea was pretty good but both my friend and I agreed that the bubbles/boba were over cooked. I'm really looking forward to a better experience next time! read more

Vietnamese food combined with a kids play area complete with deafening air ball launchers. Not a concept you see everyday but I approached it with an open mind. If the high noise level is disconcerting I'd advise the outdoor seating. On the day of our visit, cigarette butts scattered the ground around the outdoor tables. Only one of three tables was clean so that's where we sat. The food. It was "mid" at best. A bowl of pho and a vegetarian sandwich with two water bottles topped $30. I was a little bit skeptical to try banh mi in middle of Michigan but I was pleasantly surprised by the flavors. There's some brown soy based sauce in the sandwich that was surprisingly good and the cold cuts had good flavors and very authentic. The only thing I didn't care for was the bread. More authentic banh mi French bread and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and usually freshly baked daily. This was your regular store bought French bread and kind of chewy. Atmosphere: This cafe is brand new in the area. Its family owned. Its has a modern look on the inside with x6 55"-65" screens over the cashier for menus. The cafe is also a home to a kids playground. What we tried: Cake pastry, cheese danish, Taro slush, and Creme brule milk tea. The pastries were moist and tasted fresh. I compare their danish to Starbuck's and it's a close second. The milk tea and the cake pastries were okay. I will not be coming back for the Taro slush. Service: they were helpful and responsive overall. Stopped in to Paris Bahn Mi for lunch. The environment is split between a restaurant and a play center. The restaurant side is clean and orderly, the staff seem a bit quiet, and the menu really isn't that helpful. I had whatever Combo 1 was, and when I tried to translate the Vietnamese it simply says "Special Bread" so, I ate what? I know carrot, there was carrot there. The taste was fine and everything seemed okay. I went online to be able to describe what I ate, and all I got was a picture which doesn't help and "Special Bread" so, your guess is as good as anyone else's. Pretty much just pick at random and hope for the best. The quality was there, so that's why it gets four stars. The food. Whatever it is, was... not unpleasant. That's all I got. It was, not unpleasant. I probably won't come back on my own. This didn't really impress me, I'd be okay with throwing a menu dart in the future, but I wouldn't come here for lunch by myself. Brought my 21 month old to play and he had a blast. The play area is awesome, especially for toddlers and preschoolers.

I wanted to like this place, but the hotdogs were honestly gross. Way under cooked, we had raw dough around our hot dog and pretty tasteless. On top of that it's extremely expensive. Will not go again. read more

Just checked out this place while visiting the DMV. What a lovely little gem for Vietnamese fare in the Portage Kalamazoo area!! Really good boba and great selection of sandwiches and snacks. Also have a play area for kids adjoining the place which is great. The seating is cherry and overall a good new spot to check out! read more

Prices are a bit high for bubble teas and desserts. $9 for a slice of cheesecake or tea with boba topping, but the variety of flavors available is great. The service was good & the store very clean and bright. Matcha bubble tea had a bit too much ice for the price, but it was very good flavor wise. The fresh rolls were tasty & I think this is the only place on this side of town to get them. They have Vietnamese sundries and snacks for sale too. The space is shared with an indoor playground. Had no idea this was a chain restaurant. Corn dogs are worth the trip, different than your typical dog. The bahn mi sandwich was good, very fresh, it won't be the best bahn mi you've ever had, but not disappointing. The drinks seem a little over priced, but the cup they come in is reusable, think adult sippy cup. Little weird being in a children's play place, weekends might be a bit loud, but perfect for a tuesday night. Visited Paris Bang Mi at around 12:40 pm. Upon arrival there was plenty of parking. The space was bright and happy atmosphere. It was clean and did not have any odors in the restaurant. It is definitely for children. With kids present and playing in the playground area it was a bit loud but that is expected when you have a in-door playground attached. I ordered the special spring rolls they were really good. The vegetables were crisp and fresh. The tuxedo chocolate cream cheese cake was yummy and the earl grey milk tea was good also. In addition to the desert and appetizer I ordered the Korean BBQ beef with rice. It took a little while to come out; however, a hostess came and apologized for the delay. When it arrived it was hot and tasted food. I will note that the staff at the front was friendly, helpful, and respectful. I took a peek at the kitchen area it was clean and organized from where I was sitting. Staff wore gloves when preparing food and it appeared sanitary. When the Korean BBQ finally came the hostess brought the dish out and apologized again. She gave a free egg roll for the wait. It wasn't necessary but nice. I could tell they were sincere about service. The Korean dish came with thinly sliced beef, plenty of rice and a small salad on the side with cucumbers and sour radish and carrots very tasty. read more

I ordered the banh mi thit nuong (grilled pork baguette), cheese korean corndog and pho dac biet (pho combo). Banh mi was okay, but should be so much cheaper for the quantity they give. Korean corndog had no cheese pull, felt like they took a frozen corn dog and air fried it. Pho was way too salty. Service is okay. read more
