With the membership I could put my grandchildren on it and they can even go with their parents if we are not with them at no charge. It was a hot summer day and the perfect place to explore a new city and zoo! This is a small facility so every person that comes here makes a big impact on the budget. The animals at this zoo are so amazingly entertaining and beautiful! They need your support. Visit in person for only $10 entry fee. If you can't make it in person, show up by going online to support these animals and the Topeka Zoo. Remodeling projects are in progress and funding is necessary so that the residents have improved habitats. Find the Topeka Kansas Zoo online and make a donation!

I'd advise taking care with fish- they use RO water, so drip acclimation will be necessary if you're on KC tap water. The Pygmy's cories I got from them were healthy, but they needed a slow acclimation to be put into my quarantine. They're now in the display. They're knowledgeable about their fish and plants (I'd assume salt water as well, but I don't have a saltwater tank, so I can't say one way or the other). The plants I've purchased from them have been great, except for one buce brownie tissue culture that melted and hasn't come back, but apparently my tank doesn't like buce, because I've tired multiple times, and buce melts and never come back, so I don't fault them for that. Their plants are nearly always in good shape and happy. I did buy some downoi that was super leggy, and so I trimmed it to use only the best of it. It's there, in the tank, and I'm watching to see what it does. But the tissue culture of the downoi I got from them really took off, and is propagating just fine. Their cost is in line with online sellers when you factor in shipping. I'll continue to use them. I've been pleased with the knowledge of the employees and their locality.

I took my 3 kids to Bonkers for a fun morning last week - it was my first time getting all 3 kids…read moreout of the house since having a baby 6 weeks prior. My older two kids have loved Up and Away in Lawrence so I thought the play maze looked similar and that it'd be so fun for them and bonus that it's in Topeka and I don't need to drive to Lawrence - I was wrong. Both of my children had feet get stuck because the webbing of the play place had multiple broken spots throughout. There were also multiple duct taped spots. My oldest could get her foot out herself, but my second child climbed to the top and her whole right leg went through a hole. She was crying so hard and there were no workers anywhere. (They were all in the front office.) My baby also decided that was when she needed to be fed so my 3 year old and baby are crying while I have to climb to the top of this maze to get the 3 year old unstuck. As a side note, the arcade games are all at a high volume for their music and the lights are super bright - Dave and busters isn't so overstimulating. I gave them 2 stars because they did give me my money back, although I think I'm being generous since never did an employee apologize for what happened or check to see if my daughter was okay. They also did not mention that they would fix the issue.
