We ordered popcorn for intermission over an hour prior to the start of the show, knowing that it isn't delivered until intermission. They waited until the second act was beginning to tell us they "didn't make enough" and we wouldn't be getting any. They gave us nachos and promised to comp one of the 3 orders, then charged me for it anyway. The nachos were cold and soggy when they arrived about 3 minutes left in intermission. I gave my credit card in good faith when the check was dropped early in the intermission, then had the wrong amount charged to my credit card (over double my actual total) and someone else's credit card presented to me not once but twice. It took 10-15 minutes for the mess to be sorted between the manager and server and the server spent most of that chatting and laughing with what appeared other table involved. The manager also blew off my concerns about their disorganized service and lack of communication regarding availability of the menu. My party and I were not high maintenance, or demanding. There was no obvious reason for the chaos, besides a clear lack of organization and no managerial care for customer experience.

She started in the middle school girls groups and just finished her first year as an official Camp Counsellor. My wife and I have joined in on the fun over the years by enjoying the long weekend Family Camp events and in most recent years have introduced Camp Wood to your grand-baby, now 4. She loves that camp, and all activities. Our family has grown closer and have shared many great memories at Camp Wood. Thank you to all that have worked at, or ran this most outstanding Camp. I give 5 stars for what has included many incredible experiences, and I see many many more ahead. Your many improvements and new events along with new and upgraded buildings are making this camp one to not miss. The refurbished chapel is looking great and is going to be incredible once finished. My family volunteered, took on odd jobs and were most grateful for this place in the four fab Fowler kids' upbringing. Once they went to public schools, the memorization, phonics based reading education and clear tried and true lessons in math history drama and science taught by passionate instructors was instrumental in their superb public school habits and grades. Love SCA which was 'Lees Summit Community Christian School' back then!

We…read morebegan in 2016 when our first child was entering preschool just part-time and had the most welcoming wonderful experience. It was such a great experience that the next year we moved her into five days. The next year pre-K, kindergarten and then added child number two and eventually child number three. We have got to experience many different styles of teaching, grades, and also how it's different between girls and boys but one clear message is the same: that you are loved and that God loves you. The Education is excellent. It's also really fun to see organized sports, arts and extra curricular activities beginning within the school at the early ages too! We have loved it, and if you quickly do the math for three children, you can easily see that it is beyond worth it to us!!!

Each week I was amazed at what was being taught in pre-k on top of the normal curriculum: chess tournaments, space week, music, animals and their habitats, etc. It was pretty amazing to have my 4yr old come home one day and tell me an elephant is an herbivore because "they only eat vegetables". We were in Topeka only temporarily and winded up extending our stay solely so that our daughter could finish pre-k and summer camp here. It was such a blessing to have found this school and are so thankful for the time our daughter was a student here. Thank you for all you guys do each and every day. We will miss y'all so much!
