SEVERAL things went wrong on this trip…read more 1. It was freezing inside. I wore my heavy winter coat through the entire meal. There were a lot of carry out orders, so maybe this isn't an issue for most people, although every table was full by the time we left. 2. The waitress gave us the option of paying beforehand or after. We chose before but she had no idea how to split our check in half. We ended up pooling our cash and then split the change (not evenly). 3. After waiting approx. 45 minutes, the waitress comes over to tell us that they put our ticket in the wrong place and they just started making our pizza. She was apologetic and said she would speak to the manager and get us free food the next time we come in. 4. When our food finally came, the sides (mac n cheese and mozz sticks) were cold. Not like not steaming, I mean they were actually cold. The pizza was hot but tasted only okay. It seemed like they loaded it with cheese but had used minimal, if any, seasonings. Very bland. We went with the bacon cheeseburger pizza. 5. When we asked for to go boxes we also asked about that coupon for the free food next time. Same waitress looked at us like we were crazy and said that they don't have coupons like that, she just meant she'd have to speak to the manager. Apparently the hour while we waited for our food wasn't enough time for her to send a text or pick up a phone. Then she just stands there. After a long pause I asked if she wanted my phone number so that, when she had time to speak to a manager, someone could call me. She did take down my number, but it has officially been a week and I've received no call. I don't blame the manager for this; I'm sure they never got the message. 6. We used the bread rolls for mopping. Of the desserts, the lemon blueberry mascarpone is probably their best dish. The walls are decorated with various nostalgic artwork of Italian themes and aviation. Service was pretty fast and the staff are very friendly.
