After getting five quote estimates, we decided to go with the A-Best team based on three factors: 1) A strong referral from our neighbor who had used them in the past 2) The level of detail that Jack (their estimator) provided to us in laying out the Scope of Work for the project and 3) The reviews I had read online from other customers. The project involved not only painting the exterior of our home but also cleaning our roof. Our home includes a gabled roof, wood, brick, and stucco. So, the job was a bit more complicated given the different kinds of surfaces that needed to be painted. And the house had not been painted since 2010. The entire team that came to work on our home over several days included: Eddie, Carlos, Keith, Larry and Weber. They were each very friendly, very professional, and very meticulous and neat in their work. As the project progressed, the team did a great job in communicating to us their progress each day, as well as identifying areas of concern that needed special attention. The project took extra time due to the heavy amount of rain we had last week. But to their credit, they wanted to ensure that they could complete the job under dry weather conditions, resulting in a much better finished project. In the end, we were extremely happy with the results. Our home has a completely new, modern, clean look with very attractive curb appeal. All of our neighbors have weighed in with very positive feedback! I cannot offer enough thanks and appreciation to the entire A-Best team. I think the guys are really hard working, and do an amazing job! They are the kind of hard working people you would want as your neighbors. Not a big deal however when I noticed they were back on my block doing a neighbor's house, I asked William, the leader of the workers to please do what he could to remove the stains. They tried, he said but they could not be completely removed with pressure. I then asked him if they could paint over it since I had the leftover paint, which would have taken 15 minutes tops. William informed me that the stains were caused by dirt in the tracks under my windows, like it was my fault (who cleans their window tracks? - I never asked them to spray my windows, only the roof so his workers caused the stains.) I said, your man left before inspecting the house to make sure all was good, to which he responded "No, No, No, No, No" that's not my problem." I attempted to convince him that it was his workers that left the stains and it would be good business practice to fix the problem but he ignored me and left. I called the office and his wife apologized and offered to have them come to paint it another day but after thinking about it, since William did not apologize to me directly, I did not want to deal with him again after being treated so rudely. 2 stars for decent work but poor attitude and customer service by WIlliam. Oh, and I recommended them to my neighbor, an elderly widow and they charged her nearly double the price for a smaller house! Unethical. Will not hire them again based on this experience.

ZERO STARS IF I COULD…read more This company is a joke, they are currently doing our entire HOA and I'm not sure who on the board voted for this company or if it's one of their friends/relatives. Maybe they were just the cheapest and lowest bid which clearly shows now‍. They claim to be a "commercial paint company" yet for an entire commercial HOA job they have not one cherry picker or commercial piece of equipment for the entire neighborhood. Instead they have guys jumping on each other's shoulders on tiny ladders on everyone's roofs. It's comical. Not only am I saying this because of the above, they apparently fired the crew doing our building in the middle of my building being done and left our windows and doors plastic taped up for an entire month. They also have splatters of different colors that have now ruined multiple areas and things around like my entire HVAC units, hoses, ring doorbells and cameras, the BRICKS AT MY FRONT DOOR. This has been a nightmare having this company in our neighborhood. Fair warning for any other HOA boards doing their Due Diligence, I warned you now.
