I attended a motivational talk yesterday with Renaissance club and Joe Huff at the Primal Moves and…read morehad a great experience. The worst part is parking, parking sucks, if you don't get lucky that someone is leaving when you're arriving you will have to park farther and walk. I got lucky enough though but later I saw multiple people walking in the hot sun to find their cars streets over. Upon entering we were momentarily confused because there is a small tea/cafe type area in the front, but if you walk past this to the next room that's the main area where no shoes are allowed. I'm assuming that this must be where they hold workout classes but yesterday it was set up with these amazingly comfortable couch cushion type seating as well as regular chairs. I saw that they have a patio area, and a huge rack of all sizes of weights. If they were closer to me I would definitely try them out for excersize. The opener from the event had an absolutely amazing singing voice, he made me feel like I'm in a monastery listening to some mesmerizing chanting. If he ever reads this I think it would have been even better if he didn't stop every few seconds to try to get the crowd to repeat after him, it broke the mesmerization each time he did this, it would have been much more powerful if he went straight through nonstop. Acoustics in this building are great. Next was Joe Huff, he told the motivating story of how he ended up where he is today, and it all started from one event that cascaded into more events, etc. It was a great speech and we were gifted with his book that I'm looking forward to reading. Lastly we got to hear from the owner of Renaissance club which was a very nice speech, it is evident that Renaissance is his passion and truly brings him joy. Overall a great venue for such an event, spacious, comfortable, and everyone was friendly. Thank you for a great experience.

The coaches are fantastic, the community is welcoming, and I've learned movement skills I never thought I'd be able to do. Just try it. You'll get it.

Mary was our main contact and was incredibly helpful. She met with us twice before the event--once to show us the space and again the week before the party to walk through everything after we had booked. The venue is very spacious and can easily accommodate 150-200 guests. The website provides clear information about pricing, logistics, and floor plans, making the booking process straightforward. The location is fantastic--just a few blocks from the beach--with five reserved parking spaces right in front. It's a beautiful venue and a wonderful place to celebrate any occasion.

Very kind, patient ( I asked a lot of questions ), detailed & prompt. Gail was very helpful with our walkthrough of the center and checklist requirements. One thing to note is to be respectful of rules provided to maintain the space as well as the community, the beautiful center is in the middle of a residential area. So please be mindful of others and hold your guests accountable. Overall an incredible experience 10/10. I will definitely plan for other celebrations of life here.

There is a neat area that they have raised gardens, their own compost area and some fun stuff growing there. Their walkways lead you to different areas and live there a lot of tree's were blooming with beautiful flowers and fruit tree's as well. They host different events and activities during summer you just have to look at their website for when they will be. When you go inside the little facility there is a lot of fun facts, history and little area to read books and ask for information. One of our favorite parts of this area was the Quail land area.. such a cute spot and the kids love it. There are many great opportunities for kids to really take in nature and bringing snacks and water is a great idea. There are many spots to sit and relax. Bathrooms were very clean and I loved that they had a water refillable station near bathrooms. Can't wait to be back. Great spot & had access to a hike trial as well.

One way leads you to the Mark Ridley-Thomas Bridge that goes over La Cienega and connects to Kenneth Hahn or other trails that lead to other overlooks. The other direction will take you to the Baldwin Hills Stairs. There is also a sign that shows a way to walk you all the way to Playa Del Rey! Something I would love to try one of these days. It is easy to find parking. They have tons of classes, like yoga and cooking classes for children, and the day we went, they had a blood drive going on. The restrooms are clean, and everyone there had a smile on their faces, even though they were super busy setting everything up. I can't wait to go back and explore.

It was far more active in 2016, but there are still low key events such as raps, occasional meet ups at restaurant bars. The first meeting I went to was great featuring Gay tech savvy LGBTQ employed by local engineering companies such as Raytheon, Aerospace Corp. They were encouraging attendees to master STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics). Cool to hear that the tech industries tend to be more inclusive on diversity. Once we met up at the Old Town Music Hall which features silent music w/ accompiment by an elaborate organ played by one of the founders of this esteemed musical venue which also features organ recitals on Sunday afternoons in the charming village of El Segundo. Strange that it doesn't sometimes meet at The Artesia nee Dolphin Gay bar in Redondo Beach on Artesia Boulevard.
