Best laundromat in Oneonta. Newer machines, free WiFi, machines take credit/debit, clean bathroom, on site tailoring and alterations, and awesome owners/customer service. I've been doing my laundry here since they opened. They are a little more expensive than other area laundromats; however, the amenities make up for it. I wish they would add a loyalty club card for frequent users and dry cleaning service, but maybe in the future. read more

Awful just moved down the street and was in need of laundromat. First off it kept declining my tap which worked at 3 other stores after so it forced me to use quarters. which I only had 3.50 on me so I needed to change a bill, so come back from change machine put that last 4 quarters in and noticed when I went to push start an the green lights were off. I ended up having to switch machines, and pay another 4.50. Messaged the owner he responded and when I explained it I've heard nothing for 4 days. While on vacation we found ourselves in need of a laundromat. The Church Street Laundromat seemed like a good location. It is easy to find and plenty of parking. They have an attendant on site that handles drop off laundry and is happy to answer any questions. There were a few machines out of service, but still had enough to handle several customers at any one time. I could tell by watching that they are very efficient and caring in handling the loads for the wash & fold customers. You are near a main street in Oneonta, so if you need to grab and go some food, coffee or drinks this location is very convenient. absentee owner, broken + filthy machines, attendant present 11 hours a week per posted sign the washers that do work are filthy... the place smells like weed and mildew... my experience: i came here because it is coin-less. after washing 3 loads i take my wet clothes to the dryers that also have card readers but they are ALL covered in blue tape and only take coins. so now i have wet clothes and there is no atm on site. extra fees: 1. they put a 2-3 day hold of $14 per credit card swipe per signs. guess im not buying groceries or gas for 3 days. 2. $.50 cents additional charge for card use broken equipment: - 12 of 25 washers were broken and taped up. some missing doors. - 28 of 28 dryers had broken credit card readers and many dryers not working whatsoever read more

More than half the machines are marked as broken with blue tape and the other half is a gamble. One washer added water and drained but didn't clean or spin, a dryer ran for 10 minutes when I paid for 40. Some of the washers smell like mildew. The store itself is clean though so at least I didn't feel gross while having to wait the extra hour it took to get everything done. read more

Who likes doing laundry? NO ONE. But, when you're out of underwear, this is the place to be. I have never seen a cleaner laundromat and if I'm washing my clothes there, I want the place to be CLEAN! This is one laundromat that doesn't make you immediately depressed when you walk in. Rather, this brightly lit place makes you smile a bit when you walk in and makes doing laundry a little less painful. Credit card machines on the washers and dryers is a huge plus because who carries cash with them anymore? There is flat screen TVs and WiFi, magazines and a kids play area so you don't have to watch your clothes spin round and round as entertainment. Listen, you have to do laundry, there is no getting around it. So, why not do it at Church Street Laundromat? read more

Usually this is a decent place to do laundry, however, it is one of the hottest days of the summer and no AC. No staff present. Tv unplugged and a good number of washer and dryers are out of service. Not a huge deal... The biggest issue is the bathroom that is locked with a combo. I get it, you don't want people off the street using your facilities, but blocking paying customers? Not cool. I'd be more worried about the free wifi then letting customers use the bathroom. read more

VERY nice place. The owner is extremely nice, coming in several times a day to clean. Very clean. Great to sit back, relax with TV or wifi while you do your laundry. TV and play area for the kids also. They also take credit cards which rocks!!! read more

We are in town for Cooperstown all star village with our family. We were able to find this very clean very good laundry mat. We were able to visit with the owner who was cleaning. He was very kind and helped us find a few good places to eat that were local favorites.
