After a hard weekend of riding my awesome motorcycle, it was time to get back to work. Not that I wanted to because my buddies and I were on trails that would make your hair curl this weekend popping wheelies and doing crazy jumps. But my boss told me to get to work or enjoy unemployment. So I reached to grab a shirt and I noticed all but one were dirty. I dropped off 2 very expensive gowns for dry cleaning after my daughter's wedding. My mother of the bride gown was a straight forward cleaning so it could be stored. The bride's wedding gown had several cranberry juice stains and coffee stains on it. What possessed her to have cranberry juice cocktails, I will never know! Needless to say, I was very anxious about the outcome. Crown cleaners cleaned it beautifully and preserve boxed it for us as well. Dropped off my daughter's solo dress with a stain on it. owner wasn't quite sure how he was going to clean it with the Swarovski crystals and the bright pink embroidery and the white dress without causing damage. Picked it up and the dress looks beautiful; like it's brand new. Crystals on the dress and those that did fall off were in a bag so I can easily glue them back on. Also, VERY inexpensive! My son needed his suit cleaned for a funeral and I have not been in this building since it was Roxy's (many years ago). The suit was in my son's storage unit since he packed it away last Halloween. I was amazed how cleaned it came out. It looked brand new. They had the suit done the same day. The hours are wonderful since I can drop off items at 7 am before I come into the office. This cleaners is fantastic - they have things ready very quickly and their prices are better than most. I had a horrible experience with Handy Dandy in Delmar (it took them over a week to clean and press my tablecloth and did not have it ready when they promised. And to add insult to injury they charged me TWICE what Crown Cleaners charges). We've moved so we would have liked a cleaners that is on our way home but I've decided that Crown Cleaners is worth the trip!! read more
