I brought my vw Jetta gli to church street garage and spoke with Ryan. Very honest with me and up front helped me make an educated decision on whether I should fix my car or buy a new one. We did a lot of thing to this car that a previous owner/mechanic had rigged up and downright just messed up. I made the decision to fix the car.... kept me up date and informed on process sent pictures from before/during and after. I am 100% satisfied with the job of carbon cleaning on my car. It like driving a new car all over again. Pricing was very reasonable and the shop is clean enough to eat off of!!!! Well done Ryan and other techs at church street garage!! I hope I never have to return but in the event something goes wrong this where I will go

Ryan is so astute in his knowledge of the automobile that at times I have no idea what he's talking about.

We have four cars in the family and we use the Lake Worth Road location of Discount Tire for them all (half an hour and four tires stores we pass on the way to get there). Here is my best example of why: We have two Tesla Model X's and the design has a flaw in the way Tesla sets up the camber (no, this won't be a technical story, but you need a couple technical words to set the tone) the flaw makes you burn through tires within 8-11,000 miles. Strange, rotten, but true. So on my prior replacement, Juan here at Discount Tire let me know that there is a company that make a camber kit to help the problem. I researched it and bought both my Tesla's a kit that was supposed to fix the issue and felt smug that I outsmarted the problem. However, Tesla had multiple layers of problems they hadn't solved and I didn't know it. The parts of the rear tires that were visible looked brand new, So I continued happy and smug until I got a nail in my rear tire, and that saved me. I stopped at a convenient roadside tire stand, as I was an hour from Discount Tire, I thought a patch done by another shop would be fine. When they looked, they were shocked - the far inside of the tires, where you couldn't see, was down to the cords on both rear tires. I got back in the car and gingerly drove the hour to Discount Tire. I knew I could trust anyone to put on a bandaid, but if I needed surgery, there was only one place I could trust. I arrived at Discount Tire to my favorite customer service advisor, Juan. He started by getting me a credit back from the tire maker for the uneven wear - bonus, as I hadn't remembered tire makers do that, but Juan just went about trying to do the best he could for me. He ordered in a new set of rears and I left the car and showed up the next day for the install. In the meantime, I had researched Tesla's and found there was another layer of problems - you set the alignment at one level, but the air suspension goes to four different settings, so you wear your tires out by the change in settings. So I figured out how to set them to stay in one place - there, another Tesla issue fixed! As the guys were starting the install, I cooked up a plan to fix the rest of my Tesla's problems once and for all. I wanted to replace all four tires and go to different wheels that weren't staggered, so I could rotate them properly and stop the wear in only one spot. I also wanted to stop having the car bang over the smallest uneven patched in the road, as it was on 22" wheels that look nice, but show no mercy for the occupants of the vehicle. I thought I had time to research and get the right choice, but these guys are super speedy and had already put the new tires on, by the time I figured out what I wanted to do. As a result, I didn't want to drive on the new tires as I wasn't planning to keep them. They couldn't take them off and put on the old ones, for, as the only reviews that are negative here state, they can't be liable for putting on faulty tires (or taking nails out of the sidewall) - this is frustrating, but it bears mention as it also saves you from doing silly things and hurting yourself. The wheels would take a week to get in. I talked with Dustin, the manager and he told me he was willing to keep the car on the property and move it into the garage every night until the wheels arrived. I know he couldn't have been happy about that, but man, you wouldn't know it to look at him. Just the perfect image of professionalism when facing an adverse situation. It got worse for them. Having taken this on, they moved the car around for a few days. However, then I had to come by and ask that they plug the car into the wall socket, as it was about to run out of electricity - Tesla's don't have a reserve tank, they just go dead. So they kindly agreed to do so. Ben and Juan moved the car in and out, charging it daily as they did. When the wheels finally arrived, they had them mounted up with new tires, fully aligned and ready to go in under 90 minutes. Discount Tire and Tire Rack share common ownership, so you always get same excellent prices Tire Rack advertises, without having to pay the shipping charge. It is genius. Anyhow, Juan rang up the sale and Dustin had kindly authorized giving me an additional discount. If I was the boss, there is no way I would do that after all the extra trouble I had caused. It was a really kind extra touch that shows how classy these guys are and how well this store is run. So, I'm back to feeling semi-smug, as I really think I've solved all my Tesla problems. We will see if I'm right, but the car rides like a dream on these new 19" wheels. Thank you so much, Juan, Ben and Dustin - I'm your customer for as long as you don't get sick of me!!

John and Justin were absolutely incredible and helpful throughout this entire process! They were completely transparent, professional, and skipped the usual dealership upsell nonsense. If you want honest mechanical work in Palm City, go see John and Justin here! They are very friendly and if you are local I highly recommend them especially if you have a high performance car. I've never left a bad review in my life. Palm City Auto did me wrong and I need to say something…read moreinstead of keeping it unheard. I had taken my older car for a rubbing noise in my tire. They said the wheel bearings and both tie rods needed to be replaced. I also signed up for the top tier $125 auto detail (more on that later). I agreed to replace the wheel bearings and both tie rods and wheel alignment. Paid a good sum of money for this repair. Within nine months my front passenger tire was completely bald and close to blowing out. Took it to Tire Kingdom to get a new tire and alignment. They couldn't do the alignment because the tie rods were shot. Both sides. So why didn't the repair I had paid for last? Going back in time to the visit to PC Auto: They were supposed to detail my car the day of the repair. They weren't able to do the exterior work (waxing, etc) because there was a very bad storm. Which ok, that was fine, no big deal. When I got into my car to leave, I noticed that the interior detail was extremely deficient. Granted, it was super dirty. I'm a single mom of a very special-needs child, the last thing I have time for is cleaning my car. So I paid for the top detail package. For instance, just using the steering wheel as the point I'm choosing to use as an example, rather than listing all the interior areas neglected, but the steering wheel hadn't been touched and was still so dirty that I took a napkin and rubbed water on a spot, leaving a clear circle showing it wasn't cleaned (that was just one area. I wish I could share the picture I took. It wasn't just a little difference, it was way blatant). I went back inside to let them know they didn't touch a lot of the interior (even the inside of the windows). They did a good job vacuuming and shampooing the carpets though! The owner (I understand there's two owners, a front store owner and a back store owner?) The back store owner ( I don't know if I'm phrasing that correctly) looked at it, annoyed with me, said "well you only paid for the basic." "No, I paid for the top one! And even the basic would clean the windows and steering wheel and door panel. Look, I can rub it off with water!" So they said they would finish it when I brought the car back to complete the exterior when the weather was better. I took my car back within a few days of the repair to finish the detail and also because I still heard the original noise that replacing the wheel bearings and tie rod was supposed to fix. The sound didn't happen when I rode with the mechanic, so they never identified it, but apparently it wasn't the wheel bearings and tie rod that I was told was the problem. (have since found out it was the brake backing plate, simple bending it solved the sound). So that day (I was very nice about this too!) they washed their hands of me. They refunded my money for the auto detail. I figured, okay, they gave my money back, I got a partial detail... I'll let it go and move on. But when I found out that the repair I paid good money for didn't last (what, six months tops?) and I had to get all new tie rods and an alignment all over again, and a new tire (!), realizing I wasted a lot of my hard-earned money on them and had to go through this repair all over again, and pay for it again, I'm pissed and not keeping quiet about it anymore. Palm City Auto did me wrong. Even though I was super nice about the whole thing, they washed their hands of me, and then I find out that it was all for nothing. Not cool.
