The Windows and doors are drafty, along with poor insulation. The roofing is very old, and not a shingled roof, but the metal kind. We had water that would run down our walls near where the fire place is upstairs when we had very heavy rains. It was easy to hear the water hit the ceiling as it leaked in from the roof. I put in several maintenance requests, but no one ever bothered to climb up and look. The gutters are for looks, they don't function properly either. Whenever it rained we ended up with a giant waterfall right in front of our front door. Over 4 months ago it appeared they were replacing them, but that didn't happen. They tore of all the old gutters off the back and left the piles of junk right behind the building. The kitchen is terribly tiny and almost claustrophobic. I could be at the stove, spouse at the sink directly behind me, and our rear ends would touch. Literally 6" of space from the dishwasher door (being open /down) to the cabinets across from it. Pros: there is a park with playground literally a 2 min walk away. Decent size open area with it. The place comes with a chimney ( although I never used it, Cus I don't want to risk using in fear of it probably had never been cleaned) Lawn care is pretty regular, but too bad they don't get all the dead tree branches and leaves off the roofs. "Open" floor plan downstairs, but very weird trying to arrange furniture in it. Ours came with a washer and dryer. Very decent bedroom and closet sizes. Good location within the city.

Loading items to put in her storage location. In the middle of loading, the owners husband, ordered me off the property immediately. He could see many items were leaning on the trailer. I told him as soon I got the items loaded. He said no. He told to just walk out the gate. He said he would call the police. I wasnt leaving my car and trailer. I loaded it up and left while he got loud and recorded. By the way, the smell of septic was still in the air. He says they are worried about their reputation. This is from a person who bullies tenants, does whatever he wants with no regard for the tenants, refuses to do repairs correctly, advertises a 20 acre park when the 12 tiny home lots are only on about an acre and the rest of the acreage has a different name and address, claims MSR is an RV park but has HUD homes greater than 400 sf and longer than 40 feet (against their own rules). He has said he wants to put double wide in the park. One day they gave all tenants 3 days to remove all items from the community center to allow a new tenant to replace our items with her very expensive items. Not long after that, the new person left MSR due to issues with the house she was in. She took all her items from the community center. From that time on no one used the center. The owners told us they never had a community center, We have recording of meetings with the owners where they called it a community center. The meeting were recorded to collect and distribute meeting minutes to the tennants. In court, at my 3 day notice to vacate my RV, when the judge saw pictures of my home, she was very surprised. While looking at the pictures the judge noticed my home was not an RV. She said it was a manufactured home and couldnt possible remove it from the property in 3 days. All the paperwork from the owners said it was an RV. That was not true. When I told the judge the owners wanted to get rid of us from the first day we were moving in. The owners husband was kind enough to repeat just that. He said yes from day 1. Ive experienced discrimination and defamation from the owners. Many tenants are witness to this. Please research other locations to live, compare them to MSR, then make your decision. You wont be sorry.

We had a neighbor who did not like the idea of the shop going in on our property and made the process really unpleasant, but Rafter P worked with us every step of the way, even when we made last minute changes to appease the neighbor. Rafter P also poured a gorgeous new driveway for us that leads to the house and new shop. I wanted it stamped and stained, and they let me customize the entire thing. The picture I attached is our new farm equipment barn on another property. I cannot stress how accommodating Rafter P has been during the entire process. They go above and beyond taking care of their customers and their customers' property. Once this shop is done, they will be building a custom cabin for us on the same property. I literally show them my Pinterest daydreams, and they make it all happen. During all of this, we had a water line break during the last freeze at our home & a plumber had to cut into our daughter's bathroom to repair it. We asked Rafter P if they could come out to do repairs & within 2 days they were at work. They are doing work for us at 2 job sites simultaneously without hesitation. We have worked with so many contractors in the past & not one has been so accommodating, friendly, or accessible. I haven't even mentioned the quality of their work. Impeccable. And if anything they install is faulty or not quite right, they will make it right and will not waste time getting things done. If you want friendly, respectful, straightforward communication, honesty, timeliness, and incredible results, this is the place. It is an absolute pleasure working with Rafter P!
