I ordered the Chuleta and Mofongo. The Chuleta was a super juicy and tender fried pork chop with a nicely crisp outside. The Mofongo was some of the best I have tried on the island: soft, savory and moist with a nice garlic flavor. My wife had the Pollo Naranja, Arroz Frito, and Papas Fritas. The Pollo Naranja (Orange Chicken) was tender with a nice crispness and marinated in a sweet orange sauce. The rice was nicely savory and the fries were perfectly crisp. Overall, La Perla Oriental is a must visit in Luquillo.
