Thank God we walked all the way to the end! After our El Yunque honeymoon adventure, we ended up here. This food was SO D**N GOOD!!! I cannot emphasize enough how full we were after devouring our entire plates. So much flavor, so much culture, sooo good!! The drinks were just ok but the food lol the food was everything. We still daydream about the red snapper and rice & beans. The view in the tiki bar area is the icing on the cake. Looking forward to our next visit!
SABROSO!!! After a day at the beach, this was a good place to chill and refill. Every single dish we tried hit hard and was so fulfilling. The sampler appetizers were a wonderful way to get ready and try new things. The sweet and savory pork with white rice I had was so tender and sweet and the rice so soft. The red snapper dishes I tasted were so soft and tender and did not taste fishy but taste flavorful. The vanilla and coconut flan was a dream come true - soft, a fantastic flavor on one's palate and wow! And the cortado coffee - don't leave without having it - it's unexplainable. We sat inside with some ac and the view was epic. Our waiter Victor was so kind and helped pick what was best on menu and funny - good dude. Everyone run here - you will refill for the rest of the day.
WOW!!! One of the BEST dinner on the island! Lobster is must have! And the ribeye was perfection!!!!!
Today was a special day at La Parrilla in La Isla Del Encanto. From the very beginning we were welcomed with with a smile and a sense of happiness. This place was right by the water where you can hear the waves crashing and the food smelling absolutely amazing. The menu was big and our server was super welcoming and helpful. I loved the seating area and how open this establishment was. It felt perfect with the weather and the sounds all around. I have to give a HUGE thank you to the staff who made this night unforgettable and one I will always cherish for the rest of my life. They helped me coordinate my proposal to my better half with smiles and excitement. They made our night special. I will forever be grateful to them and this wonderful place. Now let's get to the food. OMG! ... Our dishes were nothing short of perfectly delicious. I have not had steak in a long time and this was a reminder of how good steak is when is cooked and seasoned perfectly. If you're in Luquillo, you must give this place a try. I will certainly be back here when we make our trip back to Puerto Rico and you should too!

The third time, he even asked me what kind of water I wanted--and then never brought it. I ended up getting my appetizer, entrée, and even dessert without ever receiving a single glass of water. We heard to order everything at once because they tend to be slow and forget off the past reviews, but apparently I was supposed to ask for water at the same time too. For reference, I ordered the lobster, red snapper, the sampler plate, and the Cuatro Leche dessert. Unfortunately, the food was just mid--nothing memorable or worth coming back for. To top it off, while I was paying at the front, the table next to me was also leaving a complaint about their experience. It was clear I wasn't the only customer disappointed. Between the poor service and average food, I can't recommend this place.
This Area where the restaurant is super cool with a bunch of kiosks to eat at and right off the beach so it has a great view. it's a really popular restaurant so there was a wait time my fried snapper was really tasty but the other fried things we got weren't my favorites. the service was decent but took a while to get our food. the ambience is cool but i wouldn't say this was the best of the best like i was informed
Absolutely delicious! We both enjoyed our meals and the ceviche (not pictured). Great ambiance, delicious cocktails, friendly staff, and can't beat the ocean view.
I actually went here 5 years ago on another trip and so funny we ended up back here haha! I remember last time the food was absolutely BUSSIN and this round did NOT disappoint! We loved everything we ordered including the apps sampler, mofongo, and pineapple rice!
Listen.. this was the longest wait of my life when it comes to a restaurant. I'm talking "questioning my life choices" long. We ended up getting our food to go because we genuinely didn't know if a server would ever appear. Needless to say, service was rough.. long wait to even order drinks, even longer to get them, and everything felt oddly spaced out. The appetizer platter was actually delicious, but by the time it arrived we were practically in a new fiscal year. Maybe sitting inside puts you on the Island Time+ plan? You'd think they'd want to upsell alcoholic drinks, but I guess not. The food I tried later was... fine. Not bad. I asked for rice and beans - got white rice with a cold bean salad situation. Not what I expected. A little pricey, but it is in a very touristy area, so that part tracks. Overall? Too much waiting, not enough wow.
Great food! I had pineapple rellano and the boys had different versions of shrimp. Oysters were great (pricey, I'll skip next time), service was great, cocktails were awesome, and we had such a lovely time. We'll definitely go back! The tiki bar was the perfect spot for a post sunset meal!
Oscar our server was awesome. He guided us through the menu. Food was good. Some dishes a little under seasoned- surprising but still good overall. Nice open air spot. Mix of tourists and locals.
There is a valid reason why it revives so many stars. The staff is awesome. So is the view of the beach. However, by far the best food on my entire trip. From starter to generous and sweet lobster to Mofungo. Even their coffee, I mean espresso is excellent !
We had an unforgettable night at La Parrilla! The service was amazing! Located at the end of the Luquillo Kiosk strip, La Parrilla is serving up some delicious fresh food. The fried cheese was paired with a sweet jam giving a nice balance. The fried snapper was cooked perfectly making it very easy to separate the bones. Super chill vibes right off the beach make this an easy choice for dinner.

Food and restaurant amazing. Wait staff attentive and friendly. Ate at the Tiki Bar so we could enjoy the view of the beach. The ambiance is very beach and had club/lounge music, which was good and not too loud. This place was filled with locals on their lunch hour and tourists. The restaurant has a right on the beach so it's a great location for beach time and a nice lunch under shade. The food was good. Huge portions so definitely shareable. We ordered the creamy lobster bisque, pineapple rice with shrimp, a beef empanada, which was so yummy, the pork loin medallions stuff with ground beef picadillo, and a side of maduros. The lobster bisque was good but with noting that it's made with pimento cheese. It's more cheesy than creamy. Definitely recommend, can be pricey depending on what you get, so sharing is ideal. Located at the Luquillo Kiosks. This was one of the nicer restaurants with ocean views. They do not take reservations, but we didn't have a wait on a Friday evening. We started off with cocktails - Mai tais and beers. For dinner, I got a beef empanada, rice beans, and the sweet plantains. It was a full meal! My husband got the fresh mahi mahi which came with salad, rice, and beans. The portions are pretty big! Our friends got the chicken stuffed with sweet plantains and the grouper. All good choices. Very chill vibe. Loved the ocean vibes. read more

This restaurant is awesome. We were visiting from NY staying at El Conquistador with our two kids and this was classic puerto rican food executed VERY well. They don't take reservations and the line to sit seems intimidating but it moves fast (the restaurant is deceivingly big). We ordered alcapurrias, empanadillas (beef & lobster), fried pork, fried snapper and alfredo pasta for the kid. Service is supper efficient but warm - we will 100% be back read more

This spot stood out along the lively strip of waterfront restaurants in Luquillo, Puerto Rico- perfect for grabbing some bites before heading back to our room. Picture a dirt parking lot just off the highway, leading into a big restaurant with a tin roof and loud, carefree energy. The vibe here is alive. Salsa pumps through the speakers and even without a dance floor, you'll find people making their own space to show off their Salsa moves. It's that kind of place that has no frills, just fun. [Let's talk piña coladas. I've had a string of them across the island, all ordered with alcohol... yet every single one tastes like a virgin. I've given up. Give me natural, tropical juice or water- or a glass of wine when the mood strikes. Puerto Rico might be the birthplace of the piña colada, but these folks LACK in the alcohol part big time]. Food wise, my husband was in heaven with his meat alcapurrias. I went for the Caribbean fried cheese and a fish empanada. While the empanada shell was crispy and fresh, the filling was almost nonexistent, which was a letdown considering the size of the shell. Still, between the upbeat servers, no-reservations-needed vibe and easygoing energy, this place offers a fun, come-as-you-are experience. It's not gourmet, but it's got a bit of heart. read more

Warning: La Parrilla will ruin other restaurants for you. The terrace view is unfair. The Boricua Sampler is a love letter to Puerto Rican flavors. My wife's lobster made her forget I existed. The grouper made me forget everything else. And the service? Flawless -- like they actually enjoy taking care of you. Come hungry. Leave happy. Come back soon. That's the La Parrilla formula. read more

Beautiful setting! Super great ambiance! Servers are amazingly sweet. We had really wonderful lobster. The only downside was their "melted butter" wasn't butter as we 8 are familiar with. Maybe it was ghee? Whatever it is/was it was unsalted. With all that said, we all wished we had melted salted real butter for our delicious lobsters. read more
We came on a weekday afternoon and just had drinks. The drinks were smooth and mixed well. The food looked good but the wait was 45 minutes so we skipped it. Lots of locals and tourists around also enjoying the beach. They have a sand wash off in the front of the building near a tree. There is inside and outdoor seating. Service was quick and efficient. read more
Came here for the fresh lobster and it did not disappoint. The mofongo, however, was dry and underwhelming. The location is great, with several dining options nearby and close to the beach. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making for an enjoyable visit overall. read more

La Parrilla has its own parking at the end of the lot. Staff is very friendly. Its right next to the beach and has great views. The food was good and well priced. We tried the Bacon wrapped Medallions with rice and beans. The sauce is like a sweet guayaba taste but it looks like ketchup. Also tried many appetizers that were delicious. Food was good but came out a lil slow but to be fair restaurant was packed and we had a party of 12. Would definitely come back. Servers were very friendly and explained everything. read more

Service was so accommodating and professional. Oscar correctly recommended to share one large fresh lobster with an additional side. Perfect lunch amount for two hungry adults. read more
The best thing here was the mango iced tea. Memorable. The stuffed lobster was good. The yuca mofongo needed a bit more crunch. Overall good. The staff looks miserable- including the nonexistent greeter. Either the heat or the boss sucks. Go for the iced tea. read more

Ask for lunch menu when you come for lunch! Great food and service! We came for lunch after enjoying Loquillo's calm and quiet beach. My only recommendation is to make sure you ask for a lunch menu which is way less than the dinner menu. You will be given a dinner menu when you are seated unless you ask for a lunch menu which we did. We couldn't finish our lunch --I had carne guisada while my husband had fried grouper. Both meals came with side small salad and beans and rice. All were delicious! read more
We stumbled upon this place by luck after a beach day! This place has valet parking for the restaurant. The place has extremely vibrant beachy vibes!! It's an outdoor seating place. The food was amazing and delicious!! We ordered shrimp mofongo, plantain chips , and vanilla flan! The flan was exceptional!! Service was decent and fast! La Parrilla is located at the far end of a one-way strip of eateries, bars and a plethora of other shops. The majority of us couldn't turn down the lobster stuffed with seafood - it was pretty good, but no matter how hungry to think you are, do yourself a favor and order the smallest lobster they have. I think ours was a 1.5 pounder. There's A LOT of meat in there - remember, it's a mix of lobster, shrimp, octopus, etc. Another winner are their Alcapurria. Get them. They're delicious and made from scratch, in-house. Of course flying in from the cold up in NYC, down to the mid-80's in Puerto Rico... you see sand, water, feel the warmth and know it's a great time for a piña colada. So, I got one. It hit the spot and made the feel all that much better. A couple of things to keep in mind: - There is a customer parking lot next to the restaurant, however, there are not always spots. Note that that lot is at the far end of a one-way street, so if there are no spots, you'll have to go all the way around again. - La Parrilla is right on the beach. If you're going for dinner, do yourself a favor & time it so that you can catch sunset. Of course it's a stunner! read more

We made a last minute decision to stop here for lunch as we headed to the airport. 10/10 recommend! The place didn't look like much as we pulled up (plus it was rainy), but I had read the reviews and figured we gave it a try. Perhaps the best meal we had during our time in Puerto Rico (and we had a lot of good meals)! The seafood mofongo in the hollandaise sauce was incredible. I still think of this meal a month later! read more
A stand out at the famous "Kioskos de Luquillo", La Parrilla served everything I look for in a place to eat. Serving traditional Puerto Rican food sourced from the island! We didn't go in expecting to eat a live lobster but it was worth every penny. read more

Love the food here. They have parking on site and service was great. It's right next to the beach so you can enjoy the view while eating here. The flavor and quality of the dishes were better than other average restaurants at the beach. However, in general, i think the lobsters are not the greatest. I wish I had ordered crab in the plantain cups instead. Lobster dish had a particular seaweed scent which I don't like. Overall, I would still go there again if I visit Luquillo beach. read more
