Last week I randomly stopped by this location of Church's Chicken on Ajo and the place wasn't super busy, so I was able to get in and out of the drive thru within a couple of minutes (you know, the way fast food is supppsed to work). The food itself (ordered aome chicken strips and a honey biscuit) had been sitting under the warmer for a while and was a little dried out. Honestly, the best part of any visit to a Church's is the honey biscuit, which tasted just fine. So, was this place amazing? I personally got down to place my order because i wasn't sure what I was going to get. I ordered a 20 pcs along with extra side. My order came out to almost $60.00. When I get to my home I only have 10 pcs. I called them to let them know. They tell me I can go pick it up. Never apologizing. I show up and until I say "excuse me" do they attend me. I'm asked for my receipt. I tell them I need it back. I'm told they need to keep it so they can show their manager why they are short 10 pcs. I inform her she's not going to be short. She shorted me. She tells me she has to keep it. I ask her..."are you calling me a liar?" I just drove all the way back from Drexel and Cardinal. She does something on the registrar and gives me a copy of my receipt. Never once do they say "sorry" or anything to address the issue. Horrible customer service. The smokehouse chicken is beyond putrid, it looked so unappetizing I didnt even want to touch it - straight into the trash,even now just thinking about this piece of carcass my stomach churns, I'd be so embarrassed to sell anything like this - if I could rate a -10 * that's what I would definitely rate this garbage ! read more

The 2 Stars are for the service! I like it when you're greeted & welcomed! Although, I must admit, I wasn't at all pleased with the food! Come on guys...it's not that hard to fry chicken! So my son was in the mood to try some chicken and waffles and I noticed that churches chicken have that on their menu now, and it was not too bad of a special three chicken strips and five waffle bites for only 399 now it's definitely not no Lolos chicken and waffles but I must say it actually tasted pretty good. This particular location the customer service reps were pretty friendly but it was rather slow now I guess I didn't mind since our food was fresh nice and piping hot when we received it. And I really like their mass potatoes and gravy that's about the only side dish that I like from here other than the french fries but I'd rather have some much potatoes and french fries. So when you're not in the mood to cook and don't want to spend a life like at Kentucky fried chicken I would suggest churches I don't know so much about the chicken but normally it's pretty greasy but the chicken breast strips are pretty tasty and not very greasy. read more

I'll start with the positives first. To begin with the food was beyond tolerable which honestly came as a surprise for a "fried chicken"/"fast food" restaurant. The prices were even more to smile about. Unfortunately the overall cleanliness was abhorrent the floors were spotted with trash, wet, and dry soda pop. Sadly the tables were also in a rather untidy state only one other group were there yet I couldn't find a clean table which is saying something they have roughly twenty of them. Stopped in on 10/15/2017... All meals are outrageously priced, so we could only get a "chicken only" deal. The was, by far, the greasiest chicken that we've ever received from a Church's chicken anywhere in the country. It was nasty; we couldn't even eat it. We picked this up and went to our hotel. BEWARE! Owner, Noor Sanji is a liar, cheat and con man. I have been trying to get my issue resolved since 5/31/2020 when they gave me the wrong order and sides. Food was burnt beyond being able to be eaten. There was also hair in the food. Called for two months before anyone, including Sanji, would answer the phone. I was told to bring in receipt for full refund or for the same meal. Four or five times I tried to but the restaurants were closed or had shortened hours due to Covid. The manager and asst manager I talked to are no longer there. Now they're saying they won't honor it. I tried to talk to Noor. After trying to fast-talk me, he dared me to call the corporate office. I've called the corporate office about 10 times and they say it's been escalated and it's being worked on and I'll be contacted. That's been about two months. I also left about 10 messages with Joseph Christina, CEO, over the same period of time and nothing. The store on Dodge, were the problem occurred has been closed. Rumor is it was shut down for sanitary reasons. It was filthy when I was there. No one wearing masks or gloves. One employee making filling orders had his finger in and out of his nose the whole time I was there. This whole company, the way it is run, and the way they treat and value their customers is a disgusting disgrace. Go to Lucky Wishbone or Kentucky Fried instead. read more
