Dinner here for 10 last night -- it was my 2nd visit. They have a very small menu - if you want something other than chicken tenders you are out of luck. That said, their chicken really is is good. The breading is nice and crunchy and the white meat is tender and juicy. Love the dipping sauce. I like their fries -- they are crinkle cut and crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. Not a big fan of their coleslaw, but YMMV. Plenty of seating inside with booths, but we had a big group and they have a great long table for a large crew. Great late night dining. The drive thru line is always long. We went inside this time. The employees were very nice and the ordering is easy. The Cane sauce is so good and goes with the chicken, fries and the Texas toast. The staff were always cleaning the tables and sweeping. It was nice and bright inside and clean. Immediately after paying $30.00 for lunch for two, we had not made it to get soda when they called my name that my order was ready. Ready with lukewarm chicken and soggy French fries. Obviously prepared some time ahead of our arrival and stuck under a heat lamp. I grew up in my parent's restaurants and know fresh from sat under a heat lamp. That was before I earned my culinary arts and hotel restaurant management degrees. This meal was not worth the price. If they can't do it right, don't serve it to the public. Some of the best fried chicken I've ever had in my life. This place is a must visit if you've never had. The prices are somewhat high, but for what you get, it's totally worth it. The sweet tea is also one of their specialties, but I like it half sweet there is nothing quite like eating at canes fried chicken and the drive-through is quick and efficient. I pay with a 20 I have to get two dollars back in quarters when I open up my wallet I realize I actually have $3.03 one dollar bills so I tell the guy oh look I've got three dollars. The chicken was not as juicy as I had expected based on other reviews but it was satisfactory. The fries were equally drab and tasted pretty much like frozen Ore-Ida. The bread was pretty tasty but not as crispy textured as it looked. What can I say about service other than it's the standard counter order set up & the servers were efficient at what they do. There was plenty of seating in a variety of configurations to meet any demand. Their branded merch is kind of kitschy & the atmosphere matches that. They have a variety of specials to choose from, and while they can be a tad expensive, you get what you pay for in the quality of the food and service. This location has just recently opened. At first glance it seems to be great, much like any other location. I came here during lunch, and it was absolutely packed with people, so expect it to be loud in there. Despite the crowd and the loudness, I got my order in a short amount of time. I've been here for approximately 20 minutes and I'll just one kit does his walk around with one single wipe and wipe all the tables. I made the mistake of asking the grouchy grinch at the counter for another sauce and some ketchup . You thought I would've killed her dog. Needless to say I got two little things of ketchup thank you very much but if I wanted my extra sauce I would need to pay $.49 and go stand in line.
